For the last month the food has been inconsistent. The food can be very good at times and not so good at other times. What has consistent is the temperature in the restaurant itself. If you like eating in a restaurant where you have to step outside every ten or fifteen minutes in order to cool off then you will... More

Zoe's menu sounds amazing and delicious. The food is fine, it features a much more creative selection than most other Athens options. It is not worth the expense-the meals I have had have been so-so. Try salaam, purple chopstix or Casa nueva if you want quirky and local.

The butterscotch creme brulee will change your life. :) The food was great. We each ordered something different and then shared so we could experience it all. A little pricey, but so much better than another night of "fast food".

I love this place--just the white linen tablecloths alone would do it for me but I also love the old plank floors, the huge old bar and the view of the kitchen. The food is also excellent and inventive as are the wines and drinks. The wait staff is well informed, answers all of your questions and is very attentive--all... More

The Jasper Martini and the Moscow Mule cocktails are just perfection! We have always enjoyed their appetizers-always great. The food is mostly pretty good but we have had some disappointments here and there; however the Monkfish I had a few days back was delicious (and this is not one of my preferred fish but I am for exploring flavors in... The location in Uptown Athens is nice - away from all the chains on E. State Street. The food here is very good to even excellent and reasonably priced. But everything about the inside is cheap, drab, and depressing which leads to the place having zero atmosphere. Absolutely no character at all, which is a shame because again, the food... More

I will begin by saying the food was better than the service, by far. However, the crepe was more like an omelet and the soup special was thick and inappropriate for summertime. Along with that the bread servings needed to be asked for and anything more than two very small half slices were considered "extra." The service was slow for... More

Zoe is worth a visit if you're interested in delicious food. Their menu was varied and had several appealing options. When we were there in late June, there were a couple of different themed nights (half price wines on Tuesday and tapas-style plates on another day, if I recall correctly). The atmosphere was sparse and may be the one aspect... More

I am a food snob and we always end up eating in the same restaurant when in Athens - Casa Nuevo. But that has ended because last night we found a gem of a place to eat dinner when we are there. The food is simply amazing and the people are so nice. I had a fabulous crepe with portabella... More
