This is the best soft served ice cream any where. Home made. Always try the 3rd flavor! The original Stricklands in Ellet is the best.

I have been a fan of Stricklands for nearly 40 years. I recommend tryingbthe special no matter what it is, although my favorites are banana, toffe chip and mint chocolate chip.

Just thought the ice cream didnt have much flavor, more like ice milk to me. others seem to like it for some reason

No minority workers ever. Would help so see people of color working there after all these years. Minorities spend alot of money there, it would good to see minority representation.

i grew up right next to the birthplace of this establishment and they have expanded since. frozen custard might work for some, but for the price you dont get much diffrent that you would at other area icecream shops.

I wouldn't eat icecream when I met my husband then he made me try Strickland's. Oh buy, was I hooked!!! Best you'll ever find!! I used to live on Triplett and went daily now I still travel from Minerva for it. Been going there for 25 years.

This is the best soft ice cream around....pumpkin roll, ice cream, caramel sauce and whipped cream. mmmmmmm

There is usually a crowd at a Stricklands. Good variety of flavors and wonderful staff to take care of you.

Just want to say when a city names an ice cream shop #1 food place that doesn't say very much for the city at all stricklands is a fine ice cream shop but to see it as #1 place to eat in Akron come on??
