This is a very small and unique place - must do if in the area! The pizza is the thing to order, if not one of the sandwiches.

If you're in the mood for a real deli sandwich and awesome fried evilness go no further! It certainly isn't diet food but it's a great once-in-awhile splurge. There is a TON of selection, so even if you feel like sticking to the lighter side they have wonderful pita/greek sandwiches and even good salads. Yes, it can be cramped so... More

Nice little place. Good food is all made there. 90% of the menu is deli sandwiches so I don't go there often. Great soup. Great fries. Wear jeans and be comfy. Get whipped cream cheesecake or carrot cake to go if you're full because dessert is the best!

After hearing rave reviews from family members I finally made it out to Gasoline Alley: I was absolutely thrilled with the amount of affordable selections. The menu was intimidating at first due to the large amount of options, but I landed on the Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was phenomenal. I have since returned and got the hashed eggs... More

This restaurant is small noisy and having to eat near the bar end was very cold. There were 3 of us , our friend ordered gingerale and got ice tea I ordered a half rueben and got a cold corned beef sandwich. THe fries served with the sandwich were some of the most tasteless fries I have ever had and... More

There are a few places in Akron OH that past residents rhapsodize over, present residents rely on and to which they bring visitors and houseguests. The Alley is, for sure, in the top three! First of all, the bar/restaurant was once actually a gasoline station (before my time) and its memorabilia-filled walls and ceilings boast actual memorabilia--not the fake stuff... More

I do like this tavern for its food and atmosphere but it is tiny with tables on top of each other and if you ask for water they bring well water that tastes terrible. I have to be in the mood to eat greasy, high calorie foods to go here, but there is something comforting about the place. Lots of... More

this restaurant is a great place for sandwich., pizza or a meal. Homemade is the motto there. Great corned beef! Service is as great as the food. Highly recommended!

It is what it is...pub food. But the atmosphere and decor is fantastic and fun, and a lot better than going to some chain restaurant. My main complaint...your sauerkrat balls are too big and soggy. No one outside Ohio has ever heard of sauerkrat balls so I try to always order them as a surprise. I miss the now-closed Amber... More

We love this little restaurant. It is always crowded so try to come early or later in the afternoon and ask to sit on the charming patio in back. We usually are here at lunchtime. (There are even hummingbirds around the flower beds.) As far as the food we have been here with large groups and by ourselves and are... More
