Stop by here after golf for lunch. Lunch specials were very good. I got grill cheese sandwich which had grilled onions and a bowl of wedding soup for under 10. One got the meatball sandwich which looked huge and it was and very good. I will be back.

Iacominis has been serving homemade Italian meals and prime steaks for 75 years. The lasagna is some of the best anywhere. House specialties include the pink bean salad and the sauerkraut balls. The White French creamy garlic salad dressing is somewhat of a legend. The servers are both friendly and well-polished and will insure a pleasant dining experience. The location... More

Papa Joe's is above average and sometimes very good. There are some old stand byes and also more contemporary meals. The restaurant traces back to the 1930s. I've been to the various versions many times over many years and have always been happy, even if not overwhelmed. You'll get efficient attentive service and good food.

My daughter and stopped at Papa Joe's/Iacominis today for lunch after spending the morning at the Akron Zoo. I live an hour away so I don't get to dine here often. I have always been very impressed with the quick service, the beautiful presentation, and large delicious portions. I had the spaghettini with marinara sauce and an added meatball and... More

We meet for lunch at Papa Joes every Wednesday for 20+ years and have never been disappointed. The menu is imaginative, realistic and the food is good. The wait staff averages 20+ years and the service is great.

Lunch here was very good; prices are reasonable; service is good. Mostly Italian with some other choices including sandwiches. One member of our group said the spaghetti & meatballs was the best she had ever had. Sandwiches come with delicious home-made potato chips. The half rueben sandwich is large enough for almost anyone. Carry-out available including their famous white French... More

Food, atmosphere and service was perfect. There is an art to cooking a good veal dish and Papa Joe's nails it! Took half my Veal Scallopini home and it was as good, if not better, the second time around. The Veal Parmesan, salad and smoked mozzarella appetizer were also delicious and enjoyed by others in our group.

This is a great restaurant for excellent Italian dishes. Great variety of choices, nice relaxing atmosphere, very nice people. Everything from pasta to filet mignon to fresh fish. Along with the wonderful dining, Papa Joe's also has a superb wine list, along with their own wine store. The Carry-Out store also includes a vast array of choices from their menu... More

We have eaten at Papa Joe's before, but this is the first time we ever got food for take out. We were having a few people coming over right after Christmas and were too exhausted from all the holiday cooking. The lasagna, salad, and Italian bread was just as good for take out as if we had been served by... More

Went for an anniversary dinner and we were seated promptly without reservations. The staff was very attentive to our needs and the food was excellent with very large portions. I was allowed to swap a salad from the menu for an up charge and was it ever worth it. There is a deli attached where you can get cooked food... More
