Good food, consistently, nothing fancy, just good. Service is always good and the cleanest commercial kitchen I've ever seen. Start with the she crab soup.
We had an average dinner here, the service was good. I had a salad and my husband had pasta with clam sauce. For an app we had the chicken wings which were excellent! No bar which was a bit strange - so not great for couples dinner out.
The overall restaurant was very nice, the best part about it was the waiter, could not get any better.Got separate checks but still had the tip put on our check for a party of 6,I did not like that. The food was ok.
Get there before 5 for the early bird deals. Cornbread was delicious. Fried shrimp and onion rings were fabulous. It was our first time in this restaurant, but it will definitely become a "must stop" on every Outer Banks Trip.
I needed to find somewhere affordable to have a wedding rehearsal party for everyone who was coming from out of town to a wedding in Frisco--about 65 people! Had dinner for last night in outer banks . Food was excellant and our server was great made us feel very welcome and important. Nice rustic seacoast feel in the decor. Excellent place to eat.
Serving sizes were huge! My son loved his ravioli! My husband gives the fried oysters a b+. lightly breaded so you could actually taste the oyster and not just breading. I had the meatloaf which was pretty good! Service was great
We had dinner here on Tuesday, September 3rd and the food and the service was not good. I had the she crab soup and it was good, but I think they put the soup in a cup and then put some crab meat in the soup on top. I had the grilled salmon which was dry. My husband had the... More
Although it was 5:30 and still bright outside, it was very dark in the booth where we were seated. The food was not very fresh tasting and not exceptionally flavorful. I understand that most seafood is fried, but the calamari had no real flavor, the shrimp was overcooked to the point of being dry and the shecrab soup had no... More
We usually go to The Dolphin Den each time we visit The Outer Banks, and I usually have no complaints, but this time around, I was underwhelmed. The prices are high, the service was really slow, we were told of no specials, and the waitress chose my salad dressing for me. I didn't feel that the food was exceptionally fresh... More
