Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known...
Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

Love Skeeter's 'lightly dusted' shrimp! The service is great. Atmosphere is enchanting--skeeter theme. Lisa makes the best mojitos north of Caribbean!

I read many reviews on "skeeters" and it is a good place to eat. We are on vacation and enjoyed a fine dinner here. Diner entrees are a bit more pricy than previous reviewers have noted. This is the very beginning of the new 2015 season here. Entrees had I think 2 choices under $20 and the rest about $25... More

I went there thinking it was locals night, just to find out it ended the prior week, so I was bummed about that. I ate crab cakes with pasta, it was delicious! Great server, named Babe. I would eat here again, but probably only on locals night, because of the prices.

First time eating at Amos Mosquitos on sushi night. It was Phenomenal. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and they got us in and out in a timely manner on a busy night.

We really enjoy this place. The food tastes wonderful. I usually get the crab cakes and they are fantastic. My husband ops for the Jamaican jerk chicken and loves it. The prices are competitive and our dishes run from $18-$22.

Great food. Great bar. (Here's a tip: get Lisa the bartender to make you a mojito. They're the best I've had north of Key West.) The menu has plenty of great seafood (and it isn't all fried - but you can get that if you want it) and other things not seafoody. For example, the meat loaf is great. And... More

Outstanding price-discounted meals on Wednesday evenings during the "off season." Excellent friendly service from all the staff: from the host to the wait staff. Amazingly well-coordinated considering the number of eager customers. The lump crab cakes over pasta order was delicious and more than one person could eat; the seared yellow tuna was good but not tremendously spicy - I... More
