Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

Our family of four plus the FIL stopped in for dinner on our last night. We were very pleased, but l should mention that our pleasant experience started earlier in the day. We stopped by, having seen several cars in the lot, hoping to grab lunch. A very nice young man who was straightening up outside came over to our... More

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening. We had a 10 minute wait, then were seated. Our waitress, "Sassy", was very pleasant as well as knowledgeable about the menu. I started with a Mojito. Mojitos are one of my favorite cocktails and I think this one had to be one of the best I have... More

Was looking for a place to eat in the off season and came across Amos with a full parking lot which is a good sign. Was not disappointed. Food and atmosphere were great. Our server 'Sweety Pie' was excellent.

We eat here every time we are in the area. The atmosphere is great and the food is outstanding, best at the beach! I had the wahoo, split with my mom, and the portions were still very generous. My only suggestion, get there early, the wait can get quite long!

First time at this restaurant, one of the best pork dishes I have ever had. Our Waitress, Peaches, gave us excellent service and was very pleasant. There were 4 of us , others had seafood and everyone raved about their meal. We sat in the covered porch area and were very comfortable.

The food was good, atmosphere nice but the service was horrendous. Our waitress was terrible which being a past server I can usually look past. But when the waitress is rude and doesn't even try to be friendly or apologize for her mistakes it is unacceptable. What could have been a very nice dining experience with good friends was spoiled.

Great food and great atmosphere. We love sitting in the room with open windows on a warm evening with a view of the wetlands and water. Always a fun place to go.

This family owned coastal restaurant allows us the casual playful atmosphere, great service, and fresh local seafood, that eludes so many other restaurants. We eat there once or twice a year while on our summer vacation. Dinner here is a highlight of our beach trip.

Met friends for dinner, sushi, and karaoke on a Thursday evening. Mom had the clam chowder and crab cakes. Dad had the shrimp and grits. I had the lobster dip and sushi. No room for desert. Later blew off steam with friends dancing and karaoke.
