Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

A restaurant with a really good atmosphere, dining and bar area. Seafood and service were all very good and the Martinis were excellent. This was our first time at Amos M., but will definitely return.

Every time we visit Salter Path we always must go multiple times to Amos Mosquito's. The food and the atmosphere are great. You need to get there as early as possible however unless waiting does not bother you. No reservations are allowed. For good reason the place is always full.

Months later I still dream of scallops, and crab cakes. My family ordered take out meals because I have three very small children who cannot tolerate waiting for a seat after a full day at the beach. I have never had scallops so wonderfully light and buttery, with the most amazing flavor. I don't think I knew that was how... More

The best restaurant on Atlantic Beach. Very friendly staff! We make a point to eat here every time we are in town. I love the Thursday night sushi. Just so fresh and delicious. There are so many eclectic menu choices. But if you just want fried seafood , it is awesome. The smores dessert it a huge hit with kids... More

I had been wanting to try this restaurant on my last 3 visits to the Havelock area, and finally made it there last week. We were seated on the "patio area" which is very nice, and during the summer, would be fantastic. The restaurant seems to specialize in fish, so we were excited to have a great meal. We each... More

Our first time in this restaurant was a success. The service was outstanding! And the food was wonderful. We did wait a while for seating as they were very busy, but I was glad we did. The filet and oysters was cooked to perfection, had a delicious homemade sauce, and was a great portion for the price. We will return... More

We went early on a Saturday night (they opened at 5:00.....by 6:00 people were waiting to get in). Our experience was top notch in every way. The service was outstanding; the manager or perhaps owner was constantly checking on all of the tables; all of the wait staff seemed to be very competent and they knew their menu and could... More

I have to admit that I'm very skeptical about other peoples reviews when I read them, but this time all of these views are spot on. This place is Amazing! The seafood was so fresh and that cheesy lobster dip was very delicious. Best service I have ever had and our waitress (D) was the best! Only used her first... More

Great atmosphere, super great food, and a very popular place to eat. Go early or be prepared to wait. Only open for dinner and be sure to get a cool tee shirt.

After passing the sign for Amos Mosquitoes, my husband and I decided to give it a shot. First, we read that they had sushi, which was the main reason for us going. We arrived and, needless to say, they didn't have sushi. We were there on the "wrong night." Talk about disappointment. It was a Saturday night and the wait... More
