Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

Come prepared to wait. The staff did a good job with projected wait times - slightly under projection in our case. The staff were really friendly and did a good job during a very busy evening. The food was good - some dishes better than others - but overall, pleased with the dinner. I would recommend when in the area... More

They do not take reservations, and have limited seating during the busy season. So if you have a party of over 4 (or kids) make sure to take some snacks because our wait time was over an hour. We were there on a Wednesday night 715pm (ish). Thursday night is the BIG/busiest night so plan accordingly. Lots of fun choices,... More

Our party of five was seated on the enclosed patio. Loved the decor out there. Bread basket was really good with the spicy firecrackers our table favorite. Fresh catch of Tuna was deliciously prepared. Crab cakes excellent as well. Service good. Definitely give this a try!

After a very disappointing dinner at a nearby restaurant (that also had received good reviews), we were so relieved to enjoy a wonderful dinner at "Skeeters" on our vacation. We had excellent service and enjoyed the meal from appetizers through desserts. Yes, there was a long wait and there were still people waiting when we left at 9 PM on... More

This is our favorite place when we are at the beach. It's a must that we eat at least one, usually 2 times at this when we are down. But be warned, if it is raining we got there at 5:10pm and had about a 50 min wait. The restaurant opens at 5 but apparently if it is raining they... More

We were in nc on a dive trip and went to amos mosquitos twice in a long weekend. The first time we went for early dinner on a thursday. The wait was already an hour at 515. We went back to our motel to wait across the street and their estimate was right on point. The waitress we had both... More

So there's a lot of hype about this place. People have been known to wait for hours to get in. So we made sure we were first. 45 mins before the place opened! We ordered everything that was hyped. It was all good to delicious. Nothing was OMG Heavenly!!! Our server, a Peanut, was beyond lovely, the chips and homemade... More

We waited along with everyone else, but it was worth it! All 8 of us really enjoyed our meals (seafood and not) and our server was friendly and helpful. Overall a great meal in Atlantic Beach.

Took the advice to show up 10 minutes before the restaurant opened. In those 10 minutes, 15-20 people formed a line. They've done a great job "branding" themselves--the art and the icons are very nice. The food was delicious, too, and since they are so busy, our meal came out quickly. Even though they are trying to feed so many... More
