Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known...
Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

Great Service Food and Drink

The best sea food we ate anywhere. Go a little before dinner opening at 5pm and get in a short line. You will enjoy a great meal and avoid the beach departure traffic. Come later and expect a wait but even then it is worth it. Have been twice and would not miss a chance to go again !!!

We went early for dinner, at 5:30, and the restaurant was already getting busy because it is so popular. Outside dining was available but we ate inside. I had the fresh flounder, my husband had the shrimp and scallops in Alfredo sauce. Both were cooked perfectly. The scallops were tender and large, of the sea scallop variety. The flounder was... We had an amazing time here last year on our first visit. So much so that it was the first place we went upon arrival to AB. Our waitress was adorable and kind and the food was great but pricey. We didn't have a knock your socks off experience this year compared to last year and it was a very... More

We have been a fan of Amos mosquito for a long time, but won't be going back. Prices have gotten too high when food is good, but not great. Waitress was downright rude and rushed when we asked questions.

That's how this restaurant got its name...who's there? A Mosquito. Had to ask the owner how the place got it's name and that was the answer. This place is always busy and we went several times before we were able to get in. Really impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Beautiful presentation! If your on vacation... More

Good service good food. Great wait staff. I can't say enough how fast the food came which was appreciated with a 3 year old grandson.

I have eaten at Amos Mosquitoes many times over the years when they were in Morehead and now at Atlantic Beach. The food is of excellent quality and there is very high standard of service as well. A true "Dining Out" experience with great quality food at the beach.

After reading the reviews we weren't sure we wanted to try it but sure glad we did. The Lobster dip appetizer was great! The scallop and shrimp Alfredo was out of this world. Definitely would recommend this restaurant. Worth the money!!!!

We have been going to Amos Mosquitoes since it opened every time we visit Atlantic Beach. The food is consistently great; the service outstanding. I always have the crabcakes and they are delicious. My husband has had various dishes, and they are all outstanding. On a recent trip we ate there twice--it is that good.

One of the better restaurants we have been to. Great food and service was terrific. Prices may seem a little high but well worth it . Be prepared to wait for a table.
