Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known...
Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

Delightful dining with every visit

My favorite eatery in Atlantic Beach. Had mixed grill for the second time. Other favorites include Jamaican jerk chicken, crab cakes, fried shrimp and their famous Firecrackers. Specials are always delicious. Awesome chocolate Martinis.

I have lived down the street from Amos for over three years. On several occasions I have visited the bar area on Thursday evenings for their homemade sushi and have never been displeased with the food or service. My son recently came home from a deployment in Kuwait and choose Amos as our "return home" dinner night. It was a... More

When our friends suggested Amos Mosquito's for dinner, my thoughts went immediately to how much I despise mosquitos, and I wondered if bug spray was in order. But since it was January, I figured that I'd be all right. We went on a Wednesday night, and we discovered when we arrived that Wednesday night was "Locals Night" and entrees were... More

One of the primary reasons I recently traveled to Morehead City was to enjoy the fresh, local fish, which is oddly difficult to find in my coastal city of Wilmington, NC. I happily discovered Amos Mosquito, a seafood heaven in Atlantic Beach. It earned a place on my list of restaurants that a seafood lover MUST visit! The vermillion snapper... More

The owners and staff are great. Food is good but priced a little high for a family. No more so than any other restaurant in the area unless its one of the chain places. Overall worth the trip and money.

My wife and I always dine at Amos Mosquitos when we visit Atlantic Beach. Mosquitos is a local favorite, and I can see why. They have been in business for a long time, their food is excellent with a menu that is appropriate for the beach area. Their customer service is excellent with very friendly and efficient waitresses and other... More

I would have to say that the service was the best thing that this place has going. I would say food was average at best. I also feel that the food is priced as if it's a gourmet restaurant, when the food itself is the run of the mill food.

This was restaurant recommended to us by the front desk receptionist at our hotel when we checked in here on the Emerald Isle, N.C. Pine Knoll Shores. We were looking for some good crab cakes. Being from Maryland and loving our Maryland crabs, we can be a bit picky about what is good or not. I have to say that... More

I had the best scallop dish EVER at this fun restaurant. My other half said his flounder was his favorite ever. Unfortunately we were there the last night they were open for the New Year's holidays so we could not go back and back and back! I do not know how they decorate normally but for Christmas it was so... More

Perhaps if I had had a different main dish I would give it a 5, but the Flounder with Peach Chutney just did not do it for me. The calamari was delicious with a little soy sauce to go with their dip. The lobster bisque is well worth it, and the delivery was fun. The flounder just didn't do it.... More
