Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

We had eaten here 2 years ago on a visit to Atlantic Beach and enjoyed it so we stopped in last week on a rainy night. We had a fabulous meal and great mojitos. We enjoyed it so much we ate there a second time that same week. Because were were there during the week in late September we didn't... More

Even in the off-season this place is packed. There's a reason for that -- the food and service are consistently good. So get there when they open! Or, ask for a bar table, or the bar itself, for which they do not take reservations.

This is about the fourth or fifth time I've eaten here and I personally love it! We usually go on Thursday evenings when they have sushi, but this time it was late(8:30) on a Wednesday. We were seated promptly and were told to take our time. The 6 of us enjoyed our meals and our drinks. I had a drink... More

This place is great! The outside kind of resembles a barn of sorts, but the inside is anything but. Very busy. Calling ahead is recommended. Right outside Ft. Mason Park and around the corner from the Channel Marker, this is a must be. The food is delish!

We ate on the patio with a great view of the sound. Crapcake appetizer was good. Flounder, shrimp and scallops were all delicious - lightly battered and fried. Disappointing that the bread bucket did not have hushpuppies - breads were only so-so. Liked the local beer on tap. We'll go back.

Delicious, unique food. Very caring and prompt service. Fun atmosphere. The owner greeted us and was appreciative we were there. This is the rare kind of restaurant that earns its customers and is worth the price. A strong recommendation and we would visit again without hesitation.

We chose this resteraunt based on location ( bay side) and reviews from this site . We were NOT disappointed. The theme was clever, the food fresh and over the top good. Featured some unique offerings. Service was fast and excellent . They made us feel like we were the most important people there and that's the mark of a... More

There is a kids menu which is very affordable. The adult entrees including the Sushi (Thursday) were hands down the best including the Scalloped Scallops, Shrimp and Seafood Alfredo and more. Our waitress, Blossom was attentive inuding the entire staff. The owner/manager was very nice and came around to the table etc..

We booked a week in Atlantic Beach and a friend recommended Amos. We arrived about 5:30 on a Sunday and were lucky to be seated on the patio. Sweet Tea, our server, could not be more attentive to our requests. My wife and I both had seafood which was terrific. The steamed clams and chorizo in a spicy broth was... More
