Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

Dined at Amos Mosquito's on a recommendation from a local. The restaurant has a southern swamp theme, which I found curious for a coastal oceanfront resort area. The food is overpriced (a bone in rib eye and 3 scallops = $30.00). My steak was over cooked and the horseradish mashed potatoes were over powering. The asparagus was limp and heat... More

The food was cooked to perfection! Love the atmosphere! Our server, Cletus, was on top of things and made sure we had everything we needed! I will definitely be making a return trip for more!

Amos Mosquito's is a busy full-service restaurant along a tourist-heavy beach strip near Fort Macon, N.C., and diners probably shouldn't expect much from such a place apart from high prices. If that's your attitude about Amos Mosquito's you won't be disappointed -- as we were on a recent return trip, where we found excellent service and heaping servings of ho-hum... More

The restaurant as a whole is good. The food was delicious, and the service was fine. The prices were a little high, but for a beach restaurant fairly reasonable. There is not much of a view as most tables are in the interior of the restaurant. Try to get there as close to 5pm as possible, and walk there if... More

Food and service was very good but thought the price was a bit steep. We got there early and were seated right away but there was a wait when we left...on a Wednesday night in September! I wish they would drop the silly names they make the servers use....seems childish and a little degrading!

The food is still awesome at this restaurant, The service is excellent also. The place is very crowded and this is the off season. You cannot get reservations. It is worth the visit and the price but you may have to wait. I cannot imagine how this would work mid-summer. The price was fair and the menu is pretty good!

A mosquito-themed restaurant with excellent food! We went early to avoid a long wait. All 6 of us in our party had really good food, no complaints! Service was good too. We had the lobster dip for an appetizer and man was it good! Would definitely go back here!

Be prepared to wait upwards of an hour for a table at this restaurant. The other negative I would come in on is because of the size it's a very loud environment. We were also seated next to a table of eight. The food however was outstanding well prepare, and the service was equally good

We usually eat here on vacation once or twice during the week. We only had the opportunity to eat here once. I must say, the quality of the food could have been better. My ribs came out lukewarm and ladled with BBQ, not cooked in, our friend had soft shell crabs (2) for $22.50, they were an embarrassment for the... More
