Nice view, good food, nice service

If your looking for good seafood the channel marker is the place to go. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff friendly. They have a nice wine selection and some very nice deserts. It's somewhat pricey but still worth going. Their lemon pie is very good and the shrimp and grits are unusual as... read more

My wife and i were staying the week in Emerald Isle. This was during Memorial Day week. We tried a different restaurant each evening. On Friday evening we chose The Channel Marker for the second time, because it was so good. (We had a bad experience at The Crab Claw and a good experience at Amos Mosquito's) Each visit we... More

The last time I visited, this place was terrible. I'm happy to report that things have gotten a bit better, though there is still a lot of room for improvement. The food is quite good, though it's extremely overpriced. They really should bring back the coconut shrimp.

My fiance and I visited Channel Marker this past Saturday evening. First of all when my family and I go to the beach we always stop by McCurdy's which we love love love. This particular time the had ppl standing outside waiting so that's what led us to Channel Marker. So we get seated outside. A bleach blonde headed waiter... More

Leaving the restaurant now at 4:07pm. Our experience was very unsatisfactory!! Food was cold upon arriving to table, food was VERY bland...no seasoning no nothing! Service slow...seemed like customers seated outside were more important than customers inside. We will never return back to this seafood place. We assumed, and we're right, management has changed. Need the former management back!!!! This... More

My family returned the the Channel Marker again this year but sadly it will be our last. Too many other good options on the island. Lack luster food with expensive original dishes and a lot of fried options.

A tad on the expensive side, but well worth the money. Since we were here before the season really started, the number of restaurants available to us were limited. This one was recommend and the service & food were excellent! Spent more than I planned but we cut corners elsewhere for the rest of our stay.

Very good quality and the staff is nice! The pricing is a little bit higher but for the quality of the food the price really doesn't bother me.

2nd year in a row we've visited for dinner and both times fantastic. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. The blackened shrimp were fantastic and a large portion. The seared ahi tuna was ordered rare and was exactly that. Fries with old bay seasoning were fantastic. Seafood Mac n cheese also really good. Must sit outside!

Looking for fresh seafood. We have been visiting crystal coast for years. This meal was so bad. I should have known something was wrong when the food came flying out of the kitchen. Chicken was rubber, cold no flavor. Even kids noodles were overlooked and mushy. Up charge for certain sides like asparagus and for 4.00 you get 4 asparagus.... More
