Always up for a visit to the Channel Marker!

My wife and I frequent the NC coastal area near Morehead, Topsail, and Carolina Beach. When she first saw the Channel Marker perched on the edge of the inter-coastal waterway, with it's large boardwalk and patio surround by the water, it was a must stop experience! This was probably our third... read more

Ate on the deck. Shrimp panned in butter was delicious as was Mahi-Mahi. Bread was o.k., should consider upgrading the bread.

Love this place! We eat here every year. They have a fantastic patio that overlooks the waterway. My stuffed flounder was wonderful but the rest of my family ordered steaks and they were not overly impressed. My after in laws was less than half the size of everyone elses but was supposed to be the same size. I would stick... More

I went to this location with a good friend of mines. This is a good location, very clean. However some of the food entree's were not very good. The rice we had was stuck together in a clump. The fries were cooked too hard. And when they bought our salad out it was on a saucer and not in a salad bowl.I must say I was... This unassuming restaurant is really on the channel with great views. The scallops were Devine , I've had them twice. The service was right on and for seafood the prices were in line with a good restaurant . Also our group tried the Flounder,, crab cakes and tuna, the latter was cooked as ordered. I would highly recommend this eating... More

Went to the Channel Marker at the suggestion of a friend. Good food, good atmosphere and we really enjoyed our server. Would definitely recommend to others.

The atmosphere is what you would expect at the coast. I have tried Shrimp 'n Grits all over the south and I have to say these were toward the bottom of the list. The service was good and the blueberry cobbler was fantastic. Just expected more for the money.

I honestly don't know what we were thinking dining here, other than we were having an off night and had already tried a couple other restaurants and encountered two hour waiting lists. At that point, with children in our party that were getting antsy, we really had entered into that dangerous, "hangry" desperation mode that leads to bad choices, such... More
