Quick meal

The only reason I gave this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is because my husband and I did not have any entrees. We were leaving a wedding where the food was great but in very small portions and we wanted a quick bite to eat before time ran it with the babysitter. Our server was wonderful. She... read more

Was wanting seafood for dinner while on a family vacation in Atlantic Beach and about every restaurant didn't open till 5pm. We are early dinner eaters and found the Channel Marker was open for lunch and dinner so we tried it, and we are so glad we did. I had the fried clams and flounder dinner, my wife had the... More

My family and I visited on an off-season Tuesday evening. The restaurant was not busy and about 1/3 full. The menu had a good variety of choices, mostly seafood, and also some beef and poultry. We placed our orders and waited for our food, and waited, and waited some more. After an hour our server told us that they did... More

The outdoor amenities of this restaurant are lovely, right on the water. However, the prices and food quality were quite the opposite. Not only were the prices outrageous, but they also ran out of flounder and clams. The wait staff was wonderful. The she-crab soup taste like one is straight up eating a stick of butter. All in all, I... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We value the opinions of our customers and we apologize that we did not meet your expectations. I do re-call the night you dined with us and that we did run out of flounder. We base our staffing and food preparations on the numbers we did from the previous year.... More

Good solid seafood with a variety of preparations. In good weather, sit outside unless it is too windy. Great water views. Nice bar selection. Can get pretty crowded, especially during the busy summer beach season.

We were here on spring break, pushing the opening season so it was great that this restaurant was open. Good view of the Bogue Sound up toward Beaufort and I'm sure when the weather is warm the outdoor patio is a perfect spot. Food was pretty basic but good. The new shrimp and grits recipe was delicious but very rich.... More

Depending on the day and who is cooking, you'll get a great Channel burger or local shrimp. I had one experience where the burger was sort of raw and disappointing.

My son and I ate here for dinner. The food and service was great. The view was awesome as we sat at a table overlooking the water. The do have outdoor seating for warmer weather which would be great as well.
