Instead of participating in Black Friday bedlam after Thanksgiving, my wife, daughter and I headed for Atlantic Beach for the day and after a wonderful long walk on the beach, fetched up at The Channel Marker for lunch. What a great choice! After sharing a Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, we each had a different item. My wife had the scallop... More

Don't order a steak, it will be overcooked. You won't see any management while here, and if you have a problem, it will most likely be swept under the rug (at least that's how it felt with mine). The service is ok. Prices are high for the quality. In my opinion, this is a restaurant that has survived based on... More

My husband and I took our two young nieces and caught the lunch special. It was delicious and we definitely couldn't have gotten a better value anywhere else!

We were looking for somewhere to eat a late lunch around 2pm. Me & my husband ordered hamburgers. Decided 2 get appetizer & got the angel ponies. Scallops wrapped with bacon & BBQ sauce drizzled over them. OMG the best appetizer I've ever ate. The burgers were good but not as good as the scallops!!!!

We visited the area in November and read some nice reviews regarding the Channel Marker. We were not disappointed in the least with the lunch we had. The server was most attentive and we had an awesome view of the water. All the food we had (appetizers, soup, entrees, and dessert) were served at a quick pace, but we never... More

While meeting friends who had visited this restaurant in previous years, they suggested we went for dinner. We arrived at the restaurant at almost 7:30, the dining room was not busy but there were plenty of other tables. When we walked in there seemed to be somewhat of a debate about being possibly closed between the two girls at the... More

Lunch at the Channel Marker last Saturday with my daughter and granddaughter was a relaxing and enjoyable meal. We sat inside with a great view of the Bay and the boats traveling past the rear deck of the restaurant. Our server, "Alfie" was attentive and very courteous. I had the shrimp basket with potato salad. My only complaint would be... More

The view is gorgeous and atmosphere wonderful. The food was excellent. The service almost ruined the entire dinner though... Our waitress acted like she was ready to go from the moment we sat down. And we got there 2 hrs before closing. She was snappy with my husband's simple questions & seemed annoyed to be waiting on us. She didn't... More

I enjoyed dinner on the rear deck of the Channel Marker Restaurant while overlooking Money Island Bay. I ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi with Asparagus. The fish was cooked well and tasted great, but the portion was much smaller than I expected. In fact, the portion size I received was smaller than any other seafood restaurant I’ve visited. I would... More
