Good local shrimp

Depending on the day and who is cooking, you'll get a great Channel burger or local shrimp. I had one experience where the burger was sort of raw and disappointing.

My son and I ate here for dinner. The food and service was great. The view was awesome as we sat at a table overlooking the water. The do have outdoor seating for warmer weather which would be great as well.

Dined here for lunch. It was nothing special but did have nice views of the water and the service was good. However, the bathroom was awful. Don't want to go into it, but it was so bad I complained to the management. It appeared they would fix the issue. Would not recommend this restaurant as it was nothing special.

We went here because it is someplace you can pretty much count on to have a good meal - nothing fancy, just a solid meal. If you want anything other than down home fried (broiled) seafood, you might be disappointed. The service was friendly and we were seated quickly. We had fried scallops, shrimp, and oysters. All were well seasoned and... More

This was our first time eating here and it won't be our last. Everything was great! I highly suggest the bang bang shrimp. I can't remember ever having shrimp this good! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was casual relaxed.....perfect for family or a spark of romance. It was nice to have the water view while having dinner as... More

A Tuesday night in late January was not a busy night at Channel Marker, but the kitchen turned out a very nice meal for my wife and I and the two friends that we were visiting. It was also not the best time to appreciate another of the advantages of a meal at Channel Marker: it's located on the Atlantic... More

Channel Marker is beautifully situated on the Intracoastal Waterway in Atlantic Beach, NC, Day or night the views are incredible. Worth stopping by just for the scenery but the food is the real draw. Fresh seafood made to order with terrific service and great price. Can;t beat this for lunch or dinner at the beach any day of the week.

This is a great choice of you want fresh seafood. Four of us went here for dinner in January (off-season.) We saw that it seemed busy with locals. Two got seared tuna with different preparations - both very good and fresh. Two of us got the two-choice fried seafood combos: Oysters, scallops, shrimp and flounder. All of the fried seafood... Our server was attentive and excellent. My husband had the best she crab soup (which he thought would be a bowl for $9 but ended up being a cup) . He also had the rib eye special. He said it was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. I ordered a salad and oyster plate. The oysters were perfect! The salad... More
