Our family is staying on Emerald Isle beach. The wife and kids wanted crab and scallops. We did our research and made the 25 minute drive to Channel Marker. I utilize trip advisor for restaurant choices. Earlier in the week we ate at another seafood restaurant on Atlantic Beach. It was ok. Channel Marker surpassed my expectations, especially the service.... More

We called ahead to make reservations which they apparently don't do. They told us there would be no wait if we came now and we were already on our way. We get there and it took 15 minutes just to talk to the hostess to get our name down and there was only one family ahead of us. We ended... More

During our annual trip to the beach we did our usual dinner at Channel Marker. In previous years, we've loved this restaurant for it's top notch food, service and atmosphere. This year unforuntaley was not the same. We received beyond horrible service from the hostess and management, and at all costs avoid sitting in their overflow room (you'll know it... More

We decided to ride 75 miles to eat at the Channel Marker. The hostess was very friendly and sat us right away. It was around 4:30, so it wasn't busy yet. Our waitress (Freida) came right away and was pleasant. Now this IS a seafood restaurant on the crystal coast of NC. What seafood restaurant does not give you hushpuppies??... More

We loved the Channel Marker. So much so we ate there 3 times in our 5 day visit. Great food, fast friendly service. Loved the view and the atmosphere as well as the outdoor option right on the deck overlooking the water. Family friendly!

My two teenage daughters and I went on a much needed "girl trip." We ended up at Atlantic Beach, Hilton. After some online and local investigation we decided on Channel Marker. The view was beautiful, we were seated quickly, and every employee we met treated us like we were old customers. The waitress spoke to both girls with respect and... More

Very busy, but we were seated quickly. Service was a little slow, but the waitress was very friendly and helpful. We sat outside. The food was ok, but not great. I had grilled Mahi Mahi. It was a little drier than I like.

The food and view were very nice, but our server was terrible. He never brought our drinks. When we told him to cancel them since we were finished eating, his only response was, "no problem." Well, yes, in fact, it was a problem.

Channel Marker has been one of my "go to" spots over the years, and I have rated it very high in previous reviews as they were always a cut above the rest. This past visit, my first in a year or so, they have fallen short of the mark. While the dock seating is one of the nicest (with live... More

The Channel Marker Restaurant has been in business for many years. The food is good and the price is not bad. A nice place to visit, located on Bogue Sound at the Bridge that connects Atlantic Beach with the main land and Morehead City, NC. It has stood the test of time and certainly worth the visit.
