We arrived into town Sunday evening and checked out restaurant options online. We saw some mixed, but decent reviews of the Clamdigger. We were in the mood for seafood and decided to try it. We drove about 40 minutes from our rental to get there. When I pulled in the lot and walked in the hotel lobby I knew this... More

We ate dinner at the Clamdigger one night. It reminded me of the typical restaurant of the 1970's. Atmosphere was ok. Service was good. The food was ok.

We ate here on the 1st night of our vacation, as it was close by and recommended by one of the locals. The decor and lighting is not great, but the waitress was very friendly and we were seated quickly. Two of us had the chicken parmesan which came with a salad and a side of spaghetti and the other... The food was very good. Service excellent. Free coffee in the morning was very nice as we stayed in the hotel. There were specials each day for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast served early and was very good.

The old school charm was the best part about this place. Like stepping back in time. Nice variety on the menu, which was good for the kids. The fried flounder was ok, but very well done. Fried oysters were pretty good. No wow, but basic, decent food at decent prices.

Daily specials including seafood combinations. Good atmosphere, super pleasant helpful staff. Food as good as the pricier dock places at half the cost.

As far as breakfast goes (didn't eat dinner there) we will not be returning unless some changes are made. Perfect for the older crowd.

My 91 year old Mom and I arrived for dinner on the evening of 4/19/14. The Clamdigger Restaurant has been a favorite of ours for many years and and we always are pleased with the consistent quality of the food and service. This particular night we were awed by our waitress, Kristie, who was so friendly, kind, thoughtful, and professional.... More

You can't beat the daily specials on lunch and breakfast. These folks will feed you. Highly suggest doing each of these meals. They even do take out plates for lunch and those are great to enjoy out on the beach or from your balcony.

The place was ready for St. Patrick’s Day. We sat next to the window with the ocean view. We ordered the shrimp burger without bread and FF and the seafood combo with flounder, oysters fried light and double slaw, no FF. We had sweet tea and water also. My order came with one slaw and FF. The nice waitress said... More
