mostly good news

Stopped for lunch yesterday, nice folks run it, always a few locals who appreciate fast barbeque, hush puppies beans, slaw, fried chicken etc.. The sides were super, tasty bbq, a bit tough this time, it happens to the best of us. Sit a spell, get the local flavor, owner knows a lot about the area... read more

This restaurant is a gathering place for the locals especially in the mornings....Nothing fancy at all but delicious food....We enjoy having breakfast......The BBQ is so good as well as all the other selections....full meals and sandwiches are available......The hospitality is great....I love their over-light eggs, grits, crispy bacon and toast for breakfast....Their home-made chicken salad sandwiches are delicious and well... Ok breakfast stop. They have the standard fare at reasonable prices. Small inside dining area that could use a good scrubbing. Only a few breakfast places down here.

I'm not a huge fan of the vinegar based bbq, but this one was okay. I also had the onion rings and tasted some fried okra. They were all good. The staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a stop

They have great food at a really good price point. The chicken and pork were excellent!! We would definitely go back.

Wife and I went there this week for breakfast. Walked in and looked at the sanitation grade. It was 84. Walked out--enough said. There are too many good clean places to eat in.

Like a lot of BBQ joints, it's not fancy, but boy is this food good. We like the BBQ atand El's, but the nod goes to the White Swan. The iced tea is delicious and the steak fries are fresh and very hot. The only negative is that the bathrooms could be updated a little. They're clean , but could... More

Great early AM breakfast. We stopped in early AM and got a good, hot breakfast. Right down the street from Atlantis Lodge

We had to wait till later in the week for them to be open later than 2:00p.m, off season hours. We had good bbq and hush puppies and the prices are good for the beach
