You can tell this is a hot spot... the parking lot is always full at both lunch and supper. Locally owned with good homestyle meals at a price you can really afford. Oh.... ya got to try the onion rings! Freshly battered, deep fried and they are to die for.

Friendly Staff knows us as soon as we walk in. Chicken Salad Sandwich is just Heavenly, Vegetable Beef Soup is absolutely THE BEST EVER. The only bad thing was they only except CASH, BUT now they take credit and debit which now means me & my family eats here alllll the time. Also a lot of places even Drive-thru; prices... More

This is just a locally owned family restaurant that offers good home cooked style food and pretty reasonable prices with a wait staff that is down to earth. If you ever wondered where you can get those good ol' home battered onion rings... they do them fresh on the spot and a basket of those are to die for.

Fresh fried seafood as good as any I've ever had. Delicious homemade cocktail and tartar sauces. Fresh salads with some spinach added in. Try the fried okra and don't miss the dinner rolls!

For a good ol' home cookin' restaurant, you aren't going to find one any better than Dixie III. Testament to that is it being full on a rainy Wednesday evening when I visited. For $7.50 plus tip, I had a meat, 3 veggies, basket of hushpuppies and a drink. I was absolutely stuffed and it was all good. If you... More

Visiting Asheboro for the second year, we ventured down the road a bit and found the Dixie III and were so glad we stopped. Our waitress was great, like an old family friend and got us on the path to their extensive "specials" menu with entrée, 3 veggies, beverage and bread of your choice included. The food was outstanding -... More
