Super Busy

We arrived around 5 for supper and the place was already full. That's the first sign that they have good food. The menu has something for everyone, from fried chicken to seafood. We had seafood platters and it was much better than what you would get from Mayflower. The prices are also good. I would... read more

Great place to eat a hot lunch. They serve BQ plates and sandwiches but you can also get a good vegetable plate.

The first time I came to this restaurant, we left because there were no seats available and there is not a lot of room to wait for a table. The next time we went, we did get seated. The food was ok. The waitress had too many tables to serve and we were left needing refills all the time.

Dixie lll is one of my usual stops during the week for dinner. Most of the time the food is tolerable due to living in a small city. Tonight my food could not even pass as edible. My potatoes tasted as if they were old, vegetables drenched in grease and my chicken was so rubbery. I spent $13.00 and I... More

This is a popular local greasy spoon spot. Fried okra could have been better. I had the grilled salmon which was really good! The hush puppies were definitely the highlight of my meal. Probably won't go back.

I ate there recently and the okra was nothing but a breaded BB deep fried and terrible. Mashed potatoes were instant, and pintos straight from the can. I won't be going back.

I am from CA and found this place on TripAdvisor.com. The food was good, but with all the great reviews I was expecting more. I loved the drive-thru (I posted a pic).

Fried okra, crowder peas, mashed potatoes, fried chicken and livers, this was my dinner tonight. The food is absolutely delicious!! Our server was attentive and nice. I will be recommending this restaurant to those looking for great southern cooking!

Dixie 3 is a local family-owned restaurant with good food. The menu consists of a wide variety of food to choose from. They have daily specials. The best thing on the menu are the pinto beans. They are opened Monday-Friday and usually close one week during July 4 and the week of Christmas.
