We have had mostly excellent experiences with Pomodoros throughout the years. This is one of our favorite "south Asheville" restaurants. Although we usually 'eat in', we have gotten take-out and have not been disappointed. We love the fresh ingredients! And occasionally if we've been very very good, we split the baklava ice cream. Sinful but delicious.

Six of us met here for dinner and we enjoyed our meal. I started with the Saganaki, which is Greek cheese flamed at the table This is fun to watch and it was very good. Nice to find something a bit different. We all enjoyed our meal except for one man, and they took $10 off his bill.

We were headed to the Airport and needed to stop for dinner first. We saw the sign for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The 3 of us each had something different. I had the mushroom ravioli in a cream sauce. It tasted very good and I thought the cream sauce was excellent. However, I feel this... More

Fantastic find for a Greek restaurant that has fresh food made from scratch and tasty. Be sure to try the Bolognese sauce and for a knowledgeable waitress ask for Cora

We were heading to Firehouse Subs when we saw this place across the parking lot and decided to give it a try. The food was good but the service was not good, we believe she must have been new to waitressing. I had a gyro which tasted good but not much meat and only a small order of fries, not... More

i enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant and thought at first that this visit would make me want to come back. We received prompt service when we sat down in our booth, however as the night progressed, I kept putting "X's" in my servers box for poor service. It is a real issue for me when the server (male or... More

This place just keeps getting better. I had the pasta athena and found that it was great. Scallops, mussels, shrimp that were larger than usually found with a wonderful sauce. My village salad is really an antipasto without meat. With olives, onions, cukes, tomatoes, and cheese...just delightful. My partner loves Eggplant. Not on the menu, however, it was made to... More

My wife had a hankerin' for gyros. So that's what we had. I had egg plant fries also which were very good and my wife had the spinach-feta tabbouleh. The tabbouleh was, well, good I guess. Neither of us had had it anywhere before so it's hard to judge. It had a texture sort of like couscous but with a... More

The Marinara pizza is simple and perfect. Service was attentive and the wine choice was plentiful. Soft romantic atmosphere with nice booths. I am looking forward to going back.
