I visited this restaurant today for lunch, it was not busy and the atmosphere was nice. Our food was nothing special, but alright. The service, however was terrible. Our server was very slow, did not refill bread or water the entire time (we were the only table she had). Then we ordered cappuccino's to go. On the menu the price... More

We ate Chicken Marsala and Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner at the South Asheville location on Long Shoals Road. Both meals were well prepared and well served. Service was attentive and friendly. Menu is not extensive, but appears to be food the owners would fix for themselves and to serve to their customers - meaning they are not trying to please... More

Food was sub par for upscale dining. On a slow night the service was on point as was the hostess. The food came out in a timely manor but that was about the end of the good. Portions were small, and not well cooked. The only highlight were the scallops (all 4 of them). Just left me wondering when the... More

Over hyped.....just average food and not average prices. They swore my Eggplant Parmesan (?) was FRIED and I simply do not believe it. Baked is much more like it. Restaurants should be forced by the Supreme Court of the United States of America to tell the truth about such IMPORTANT things as that. The only way I can prove to... More

This was my first visit to Pomodore's on Long Shoals Rd but it won't be my last! I had the lunch special Mousaka which was plentiful and delicious. My husband had the half portion of eggplant Parmesan which was also plentiful and good price. We had a Living Social coupon which is what enticed us in, but we would definitely... More

We have visited both Pomodoros restaurants many times. Most recently we dined at the one in Arden. We had a large pizza and bottle of Gabbiano Chianti, together with a Greek Salad. The salad dressing was the best wine/vinegar blend I've ever tasted. The pizza was perfectly done, nice crust, good toppings. And the bottle of Gabbiano was superb. It... More

This Italian restaurant is about 20 minutes away from Asheville. Both of us aren't much for Italian food but this place was pretty good, pricey, but good! We had a sweet server who had a great sense of humor. We went for an early dinner so the place was pretty empty but really beautiful. You are served warm fresh bread... More

Food was good. Appetizers need to be vamped up a bit. However, the hot dishes are better than the cold ones. Waitress was very helpful. I'd go back.

I've been to Pomodoros several times and tonight I took my entire family. The service was excellent and our waitress was fun and lively. I found the menu to be rather limited in the area where they should shine: Italian food aka Pasta! (I don't think this is a new menu - I just hadn't noticed this limited selection on... More
