Good food. Good price. Great quantity.

Stopped in for dinner last night and once I figured out what I wanted I ordered the buffalo shrimp sandwich and fried ocra. I was expecting a hamburger bun with a few shrimp and a few Cora pieces. I left and when I got home was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of shrimp and ocra. For the... read more

My wife and I, both senior citizens, have frequented Skippers countless times since they opened and have always been pleased with both the quality and quantity of the food. Today, I placed a to go order, a two piece combo, which my wife picked up. When I opened it at home, the seafood serving size was substantially less than we... More

Great seafood, everything tastes great but love the blackened mahi-mahi either as a taco or dinner, friendly staff and clean place for families, etc. Great for lunch or dinner.

This restaurant has all the fried seafood you are used to seeing at fish joints around here -- shrimp, oysters, fish and clams. But they also have steamers -- oysters, shrimp, and clams. The sides are the usual sides of fries, coleslaw, hush-puppies and fried onion rings. The tarter and seafood sauce are to die for. The steamers and extremely... More

The food is always good and while I know that good seafood is never cheap, for the portion size, I think they are a little pricey. If the atmosphere was a little different and you were paying for table service, then I might also feel differently. Great for your familiar fried seafood dinner.

I am not a huge fan of fried food, but I cannot get enough of Skipper's. Everything is delicious and excellent quality.

The restaurant was recently renovated and has the charm of a beachfront fish place. The service was good, but it was busy so we had to wait for our order. The food was very good and it was a nice lunch. Come early to avoid the rush!

I chanced across a local eatery in Apex, NC called Skippers Fish Fry. Having a taste for some fish during my recent trip, I gave them a try. Outside a gray building with a vew umbrella tables. Inside the atmosphere of any of those neighborhood fish places out on Cape Ann or anywhere in New England the locals hang out.... More
