This place has some of the best tasting (fried) fish I've had - and generous portions. It is a VERY casual fast food, small tables type place, but the people are very friendly and even my grandmother asks to go back there.

Skipper's Fish Fry is absolutely PHENOMENAL. The Fish is good, with a 4combo platter at just over $15 (this is what I had). The food comes out very quick, and there are many choices to choose from.

This is a small looking place when you drive by at speed . You might think it is just your normal fried sea food, probably frozen. Well if it is you fooled me. Very tasty & flavorful. Large portions. I had fried fish sandwich & it was great. With the addition they put on i figured here goes the prices.... More

Who knew such a place would be found in Apex. Great, helpful service. Very good, fresh food & ample servings. Really love the new bar they added! This is a hidden gem in Apex!

Steamed and fried seafood, that is so fresh, you will think you're dining out on the coast! An old favorite, that should attract a lot of new friends! Sooo good!

We had to visit Skippers since we have lived here forever and Yelp said it was the best Seafood Restaurant in Apex. My wife and I were skeptical but we decided to give it a try. You order at a counter McDonalds style and the food is delivered to your table. Portions are plentiful and also include slaw and fries... More

Casual dining as you order upon entering the restaurant. Staff is friendly and accomodating. They recommended the fish sandwich. Huge chunk of flaky fish, fried but not greasy. I had the green beans as a side as well as the cole slaw. Green beans were your average boiled beans. Cole slaw was almost pureed but very fresh and tasted good.... More

We arrived with friends at 11:00 AM (opening time on a Sunday) and were not alone. Good sign! The fresh fish was fried to perfection and the condiments were fresh as well. If you are in the area, it's worth the stop. Priced right. Try their "coney" too!

Worth the stop if you are looking for a good meal with a decent amount of food. Their clam strips and fish and chips were very good. They have quick efficient service. We will stop in again if we are in the area.

The food is mostly fired but we also got a 1/2 peck of steamed oysters. As far as a basket of fried food goes (had oysters) I would say average size portion for the price but better than average fried food. Get the onion rings and the okra - both very good. Mahi tacos were pretty bland. All in all... More
