Casual dining as you order upon entering the restaurant. Staff is friendly and accomodating. They recommended the fish sandwich. Huge chunk of flaky fish, fried but not greasy. I had the green beans as a side as well as the cole slaw. Green beans were your average boiled beans. Cole slaw was almost pureed but very fresh and tasted good.... More

We arrived with friends at 11:00 AM (opening time on a Sunday) and were not alone. Good sign! The fresh fish was fried to perfection and the condiments were fresh as well. If you are in the area, it's worth the stop. Priced right. Try their "coney" too!

Worth the stop if you are looking for a good meal with a decent amount of food. Their clam strips and fish and chips were very good. They have quick efficient service. We will stop in again if we are in the area.

The food is mostly fired but we also got a 1/2 peck of steamed oysters. As far as a basket of fried food goes (had oysters) I would say average size portion for the price but better than average fried food. Get the onion rings and the okra - both very good. Mahi tacos were pretty bland. All in all... More

Hot food served in a very casual restaurant by very nice people. Very reasonable prices. Slaw was crisp and tangy. Only complaint is the use of styrofoam and plastic - not Eco-friendly. Learned when leaving they can do grilled or blackened, not just fried. Give this place a try. We'll be back.

Had lobster chowder-cold. Fried shrimp-no flavor, flounder-better than shrimp, fried okra-best thing. $37 for 2 of us. Shoulda went somewhere else

This is not your typical Southern fried seafood place - there is no wait staff, you order at the front, pay, and give them your name (never know whether it should be first or last name - since I barely know them, I make it last). Ambiance definitely takes a back seat here. You fill your drink, collect plastic "silverware",... More

We tried Skippers for lunch to see what it was all about, and we were pleasantly surprised with the both the friendly service, and the quality of food. I had fried clams with onion rings, and my wife had grilled shrimp. Both were delicious. The fried clam basket was overflowing with fried goodness. The flavor of the grilled shrimp was... More

I've been to Skippers twice, the first time I enjoyed the fish tacos...yummy. Served three ways...baked, fried or blackened again yummy. Last visit was with entire family. The mean enjoyed fish and chips. I tried the baby shrimp platter. I should of gotten the portion which was the baby shrimp and three hush puppies...ladies plenty of food trust me. What... More

I've eaten in only once or twice...place is small and looks more like typical fast food spot. So often get food to take out. Example...lunch: fish sandwich. You're eating way too much if you can handle the huge filet (literally platter size) and feel full! Good quality. They'd just added a raw bar. Sides are good. Counter service is speedy... More
