Consistently Very Good

Nice place with an interesting menu, an attractive indoors with a beautiful bar, and a limited but good outdoor seating area during the warmer months. Have eaten here many times. Some big hits, a few misses, but overall the best restaurant in Apex. Good cocktails! Highly recommended.

We have eaten here before, as casual dinners, and on this evening, we went to a special event, a Wine and Food Pairing, hosted by Peak City Grill and Bar, with a Winery from California providing and pairing the wines. The event was fabulous with great wines, paired wonderfully to a wonderful menu of Duck, then Swordfish, finished with lamb... More

food was excellent. four of us started with the home made potato chips with blue cheese and some type of jam. delicious, if not particularly healthy! all four entrees were very good--two got the salad with fish over it, one had the fish special and i had the scallops over risotto. only negative was i ordered a bottle of wine... We had a business meeting there. We used the private room upstairs. We ordered some appetizers to start and did a group menu (soup or salad, choice of 3 entrees, and ordered desert for those who wanted it). The food was very good and the service was also good.

We have tried this place a few times while visiting friends and have never been impressed. It has significantly gotten worse over the years. The last time we went was the final straw for all of us. We had a reservation for 6pm. When we called to make the reservation...the young lady sighed and had serious attitude claiming they would... More

One of the best restaurants in Apex, if not the best. Their Prime Rib served Wednesdays is the best!

We love going to the Peak City Grill, but due to the price we usually only go for a special occasion. We have always found the food to be of high quality and the service good. The atmosphere is interesting since it was converted from the old Apex railroad station. The town was the highest point on the rail line,... More

food is way over priced for the quality of food you get. Use to be a great place to go, but things have changed

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The food is average, the menu is OK. But it's not going to blow you away.

The servicer was poor and the wait staff did not really appear interested. The food was mediocre, cold, and had a horrible presentation. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance and bar area. There is plenty of room, but for why we got it was overpriced and clearly overrated. We love the town of Apex and wanted to bring our... More
