Red carpet welcome

The most welcoming experience, dining here before we moved to Apex. The owner gave us his card and sincerely welcomed us to call him anytime if we needed anything. The restaurant has changed some but still has some exceptional choices, and really feels like Apex. Only complaint is that the taste... read more

First the good: The bar is gorgeous -- dark, rich and cozy. The perfect place to have a cocktail and relax. Now the restaurant: Ugh. They are trying too hard. The menu is fine dining-esque (lay diners and foodies will have to ask about many of the ingredients). Prices are high, too high for what is served on the plate.... More

Went to a Burly Winery Dinner on a recent Monday night. A 4 course dinner matched with 4 wines. Everything was outstanding. Food & service at peak City is always excellent and the infrequent wine dinners bring out the best in the chef. 1st course - Duck Confit Crep paired with Faire la Fete Sparkling NV. 2nd course - Scallop... I honestly can't believe that all of these reviews are for real. This place has fine dining prices, the surf and turf special was >$52, in a casual and loud chain-like atmosphere! The food was okay, salad was way undersized for price ($11, no protein included). If the prices were in line with the atmosphere then it would be okay,... More

I've eaten here several times but last week a friend and I went out for a girls night & unexpectedly ended up here at Peak City Grill. We had excellent service, enjoyed several Ginger Rogers cocktails. We shared several dishes, including blue chips, baked Brie, autumn ravioli, and chocolate mousse, and French pressed coffee. Everything was delicious, and we had... More

Over all this restaurant is not worth the price and should be avoided, my opinion! Specials are OK experience is OK atmosphere is OK and that is all the good I can say. I like to keep my business local and will choose all other restaurants in DT APEX over this one.

Was not thinking of this place as a nice restaurant but a typical grill. Very pleasantly surprised from the building itself to the menu. Very much a first class restaurant. The Autumn Ravioli was very good.

My wife and I eat here a couple times a year; we really should eat here more often as it's very good. Food is fresh, menu is interesting, service good, a great selection of beers, and they try to use local suppliers and local produce. Highly recommended.

We had heard from various friends and relatives that the PCG was a great place to eat so we finally went the night before Thanksgiving with out-of-town company. The brick interior was warm and festive. People were eating at the bar and I noticed they also had multiple sections where you could eat. We sat in the front as it... More

We like to sit at the bar and have a glass of wine or two and some of their appetizers like shrimp hushpuppies and the blue cheese chips. Everything is done well in this establishment
