Here's the 1,2,3s... 1. The folks that say this place has the best burgers may not have yet been to some other burger joints around the Triangle, or maybe they don't get out of Apex. The burger was average in every way. 2. The draft beer list is average, the wine list was very poor, and the salads my friends... More

Salem Street Pub (SSP) in Apex is in the historic downtown, and serves pub-fare, beer and wine at fair prices. Their award-winning Patty-Melt is among the best ever, and you cannot go wrong with any of the burgers or wraps. We have made SSP a regular stop on Thursdays for half-price wings and Vanilla Porter. Yum ! There are 8-10... More

Whenever my son is back in town from college this is the first place he wants to visit. Top notch burgers of several varieties to accommodate all tastes. Nice selection of beers also. Just time it right as it can get very crowded at peak times!

Tried Salem Street Pub from its great reviews. Reviews actually did not do it justice. This place is excellent! The food is delicious. I had a black bean and rice burger that was the best burger I've ever eaten. Topped with cheddar, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, tortilla chips, and salsa. Amazing combination! Came with hand cut fries that are out... More

Thursday nights - half price wings! Had half hot and half honey mustard. Both were crispy and good. Some of the better wings I have had this side of Buffalo. The Pub has a pretty good beer menu and a good variety of pub food. Great for wings too!

Stopped in one lazy Sunday for a burger and fries. Fantastic! Cooked to perfection. Also the fries are fresh, not frozen. Loved their variety of Moonshine and their various Moonshine cocktail recipes. Staff very attentive, helpful and fun.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while visiting Apex - we were surprised at how packed it was on a Thursday afternoon! Food was pretty good but nothing too special based on what we got. We got pumpkin beers and they asked if we wanted a cinnamon sugar rim which, although it sounds weird, ended up being a... More

The food selection is fairly standard, but the quality of the ingredients and the preparation is consistently good. Great neighboorhood place for a burger or wings with friends or family. Friendly owner and waitstaff. Outside seating limited but very nice in good weather. Best place in town for a casual meal and beer.

We visited the Salem Street Pub on a recommendation from a local merchant. They had a really great beer list with a slew of local craft beers and some cocktail concoctions that were hard to pick just one! Food was great, one of us had the patty melt cooked to perfection and Cole slaw and the other had a moon... More

Really like this place. Service is always friendly, food is always good, beer is always tasty and cold. What more could you want?
