What a disappointment! This place is advertised as an award winning pizzeria... We got there at a out 4:45 on a Friday evening...so we were the first customers for dinner. We ordered mozzarella sticks, a slice of sicilian pie and 2 slices of cheese. They advertised home made cannoli, so we wanted to save room for dessert. We waited 15... More

Their crust is not a New York crust. It is more like a pastry dough than a pizza crust. They do not know how to develop the air bubbles in the crust like NY and are probably not using a better grade flour. There was as much sauce on the plate as under the cheese, it was running out from... More

...food is quite good. Service this visit was acceptable, we sat at the bar and were the only ones at the bar ... one other table with a family group. So, the "customer-service bar" level wasn't really that high to begin with ... she was good and pretty attentive. Where they totally lost us was 40 minutes before closing ...... More

Ate outside with our dogs, waitress was friendly and fast, food was great. Garlic bread knots are so good, just buttery garlic goodness! My calzone Was great and my daughter's personal pizza was thin and cheesy. Overall a very relaxing dinner, would definitely reccommend.

My husband and I have eaten at Anna's several times. While the food is good the service has consistently been mediocre at best. However, tonight was a new low. When they have a wait for a table, they do not even keep a list. There seems to be no one in charge of seating people. Tonight, after waiting 25 minutes,... More

Want some good wholesome Italian food on a budget? Want good service? Want enough to make a take home clam shell another meal? If you answered YES to any of these... well maybe this is the dining experience you are looking for. We went in as a group... 7 of us total... were accommodated right away at a window side... More

My husband and I ordered a broccoli and garlic pizza. It was excellent. Although a bit cheesier than I'd like I would definitely order it again, just light on cheese.

Anna's has a really good Margarita Pizza with very fresh mozzarella. The Cannoli's are yummy as well. It's a small place and can be quite loud at times. Located in quaint downtown Apex, NC.

First off our waitress was at the bar flirting with a guy that looked like her boyfriend. It wouldn't have bother us if she had actually checked on us, but that didn't happen but once. I got one tea refill and it took 5 minutes! She said it was because she had to make more tea, but she was at... More

This is a great pizzeria in a small town setting. Large windows up front to watch the street traffic an pedestrians, with wonderful pizza and a menu with other items. A small wine bar with good selection. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a family outing, and then the option of walking the inviting downtown district.
