he bar's wooden floor is adorned with the distinctive and colourful rugs of Anatolia. Along with kilms, there are divans on which to relax and sini (round copper plates) from which to eat and drink. Family portraits, jazz posters and musical instruments hang on the walls and are signs of the owner's passions. The inside of the bar with its wooden beams gives the visitor the sense of a typical Anatolian interior. It offers a warm Turkish welcome to all visitors. The bar has many private and secluded areas where people can relax on sofas or the bamboo chairs and enjoy each others company. This ambiance combined with the diverse range of music from Pamir's music collection means the Medusa cafe bar very quickly becomes an addiction. A window to the world is opened: feelings, ideas and cultures are shared. And it's here that the foundations of lasting friendships are formed. Eating, drinking, singing and dancing are all part of the Medusa experience. Locals and visitors can meet and share the Anatolian hospitality. Socially and economically the bar is an important resource to the village.

Medusa Bar is THE place to go for drinks, socializing, and dancing in Patara. A good mix of Turkish and European music. The dance floor boasts an extremely wide range of ages (4-70 approximately). Good vibes, happy environment.

great atmosphere, great music - Efes on tap - relax and enjoy! A must if you are visiting Patara. Not sure when it closes (if it does!) a wonderful way to spend the evening.

We have been in Patara for 3 days and enjoyed hanging out in this bar in the evening. They play excellent music, the interior is cozy and warm. They keep things clean and bar guy is very attentive and efficient!! Highly recommend a stop here, if you are in Patara.

Loved this little spot to grab a drink. Excellent music selections and the host was friendly and accommodating. We came back two nights in a row. Free wi fi and a bowl of nuts. Pet the doggy as he's adorable.

This amazing bar is the kind of place that is born only out of love and passion. From the posters on the wall to the huge music collection behind the bar, the soul of the place seeps out and entrances you. Come here to have a relaxed coffee or drink and discover some new music. This place is the stuff of dreams, a throwback to a hedonistic world where life is sweet. Open pretty much all the time it's a place to catch up with friends, meet new ones, drink Efes or coffee, debate anything you want and share music...and if you are a musician so much the better. Free pool table too! We will... More

Me and boyfriend, we were in Medusa bar almost everyday and I almost couldnt imagine the evening without a glass of wine there. Additionaly I am quite picky when it comes to music. But also here, you can never go wrong with Medusa bar. I would not be fair, not to mention great people who are working there. Always nice... More

My partner and me went to the Medusa Bar on our last evening in Patara, we just hadn't gotten around to it before that. The place looks very nice and much more modern than most of the restaurants/bars in the small village. The modern and experimental music was very refreshing. The only upside for us were the relative high prices... More
