We often go out for dinner in Ankara. We find ourselves returning to Ege again and again. We say that we shall try other places, which we also do, but Ege keeps pulling us back. Same waiters for years, excellent, professional service, fantastic mezzes and main dishes.

Supurb dishes, good drink menues and a very charming old style Bodrum interior. Very friendly staff,- and appreciate a low souded background music of Greek an Turkish origin. The filled seabass fillet will always be remembered!!

It's been a while I visited there but whenever I wanted good fish ( and raki, and fish is never good without raki) this is the forst place that comes to my mind. You may need reservation on weekend, but worth it, especially the aperatifs.

The selection of cold and hot mezze is mouth watering. You are first presented with a large tray of cold mezze. The eggplant/yogurt and oregano/parsley are outstanding. This is followed by a large tray of hot mezze. The baked prawns are to die for. You can definitely make a meal of cold & hot mezze. Entrees included a selection of... More

The food here is good if you like the usual Aegean mezze-fish-raki combo. It's not really what one would call elaborate cuisine, more of an assemblage of ingredients and flavours more or less skilfully carried out. Indeed, there is nothing very elaborate in serving grilled fish on a plate with a few wilted leaves of rocket. Same with the mezzes,... More

This place has unbeatable service and the mezes are excellent. I would suggest ordering raki, taking a number of mezes and seafood to share and skipping the fish -or order fish to share and not have as main dish-. Grilled octopus is a treat and Spanish style prawns are great -though this plate used to be better when they had... More

I was taken here for a lovely business lunch on a mild November day. We sat outside and were served a marvellous (filling) fish meze which had the most wonderfully fresh combination of fish and seaweed and tasty nibbles of all kinds. Highly recommend it. Also interesting was the aubergine desert (!) which goes to show quite how versatile this... More

Nice friendly atmosphere with Mediterranean dishes. Music is mild Mediterranean and not loud, so you can have a romantic dinner or a business dinner without bothering the noise.
