Pricey but worth a try

Kanin Club was recommended by an officemate so we gave it a try. We were there at 11am and were the first ones to dine for lunch. We ordered their Sinigang na Tadyang, Laing, Crispy Dinuguan, Sizzling Squid, and Turon. Their dinuguan is popular but I enjoyed their Sizzling Squid more. Each dish is... read more

Food prices are reasonable, since each dis is for sharing for 4 people. Dishes are mostly Filipino food. I love their bagoong rice, which comes with bits of green mango. They also have sinigang rice, which was kind of sour for my taste. Their bestsellers include the Crispy dinuguan. It is like lechon kawali with dinuguan sauce. Tip: Make sure... More

I have always been curious as to what Kanin Club really serves. By the name "kanin" or rice, I thought it just serves a variety of rice and rice flavors, but it offers Filipino dishes as well. For the opportunity to dine here, I attended a birthday party of a good friend. I am not sure if it was just... More

Kanin Club really has good food. Aside from the usual bestsellers like crispy dinuguan and rice specialties, I prefer their crispy tadyang, and their turon. I love the halo halo turon, with all the ingredients inside and the crunchy caramelized sugar on top. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

We (both frequent international travelleres from Switzerland) were invited to eat there by our Philippino friends. - We did not like it at all. - It started with beer that tasted like fish. They replaced it. Same thing again. We gave it back. - Consistency and taste in all the foods was terrible. Like rubber sometimes. Slimy. - Hard to... More

I've been to Kanin Club twice and I really loved their food especially their sinigang na hipon. Just the thought of it makes me to crave for it right now. Ugh. I love how they serve it hot and the shrimps are fresh. And their soup? FTW! Kanin Club is a bit pricey but it's all worth it! <3

Had dinner here with high school classmates and enjoyed quintessential Filipino food. A classmate who was visiting from California and a hankering for Dinuguan and ordered the Kanin Club version. I normally steer clear of that dish but was persuaded to try it; it was surprisingly good, the pork pieces were crispy and the flavor was just the right.

I loved the sinigang rice. Yes. You heard right. Sinigang Rice. Basically, it's my favorite Filipino dish cooked with the rice in it already. It sounded weird to me as well but it was a pleasant surprise to see how the dish was presented and how oh so delicious it was. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, service was good... More

I was invited by some of my former students to dine at Kanin Club several times. Main reason we keep on going back there is because of the food...just great. Our favorite? Bagoong rice. We have tried several of their dishes, different ones every time we go there, and each dish proved to be very delicious. Nice location and very... More

Theirs is not the traditional taste but that makes their food distinctive. We had breakfast there so I wasn't familiar with their other menu. Loved the sticky rice with mango.
