My second trip to Alba, after a few years, with more relatives tagged along during the last Philippines Independence day (no traffic!). I knew this will be a blockbuster for everyone and Alba never failed to exceed expectation. The callos, paella and lechon de leche are still a festival on one's palate. They re-arranged their tables which is quite refreshing... More

Sure, the Alba Restaurante Español is one good hell of a restaurant if what we are talking about is the range of "how palatable" and "how classy" this restaurant is. However, one (MUST) should not take their family to Alba because a.) It offers a limited serving of food which will make your family members feast on just a piece... More

Quite possibly a textbook example of the perfect restaurant. Awesome food? Check. Live music by professionals? Check. Good service, good prices, good everything? Check, check, check. The variety of food on hand might not be that much for some people who are used to other more popular buffets, but the questions is - do you really need that many dishes... More

Spanish cuisine is very interesting and it's been one of the favorites of my family. We had Spanish buffet at Alba Restaurante Espagnol last Sunday. The restaurant ambiance is superb. The food is great especially the Paella. I personally like the tapas and the Canonigo. I find Marshmallow Mousse really interesting.

We ate at the Alba twice. I recommend the tapas. The second time we chose a wide selection of tapas and didn't bother with a main course. It has a pleasant ambience and the service is friendly and quite efficient. It tends to get pretty full at the week-ends.

I decided prior to my trip to the Philippines that I wanted to dine in this restaurant as I had never had Spanish food before.Afterall this was part of the Philippine heritage. Whilst I was staying in the lovely Cocoon Hotel in Quezon City for a few days I thought this was the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately my wife felt sick... More

Just happened upon this place. Great look inside, and they had a great looking buffet. Several types of dishes, with everything from appetizers to deserts. The three man string band did a nice selections of tunes. They had it just right, not too loud, not too soft. More expensive than other places on the street, but worth every peso.

The restaurant serves nice Spanish food. Not superb taste but it's good enough. Maybe they are a little oily should I say. We noticed more of families here and older people rather than young people considering the area is more for the youngsters. Ambience is nice old friendly, they have house-musicians who are ready to entertain guests per-table as requested/required.... More

This restaurant used to be a steakhouse where my parents would take me to enjoy good steaks... Now being a spanish resto, its still one of my parent's fav resto when we're in town. Value for money is just right, you get to sample authentic spanish dishes almost a bit of everything.... The desserts are in fact a bonus!

I have a friend of mine who is a trained chef and suggested me to try Alba for their spanish cuisine and cured meats. Staff was polite and attended all my needs. They have a nice wine selection.Started with smoked cheese and cured meat ,By the way they make their own sausage and chorizo and smoke their own fish and meats...
