The Tapas were a bit dry, even with the dressing and the butter. The Costillas de Vaca and the Cochinillo Asado saved the day. The paella negra was a treat for us as well. Then dessert was best with the leche flan and the canonigo. However. I still love how my mom bakes her canonigo with the... read more

We had a buffet for lunch. Im not a fan of Spanish cuisine but i enjoyed eating their buffet. Everything was very delicious. special mention on the salami and paela. I would definitely go back. Very good service also from the staff.

This is the only place I know of in metro Manila which regularly serves cochinillo asado, the roast suckling pig from which the Filipino lechon can trace its origins to. Besides the cochinillo, there are the traditional Spanish dishes like paella, lengua (tongue), various sausages, etc. The cochinillo skin is consistently crispy and tender, the staff keeping it well supplied,... There is not a lot of restaurants in the Q.C. area that can serve good paella. This is probably the best hereabouts. Good paella negra, gambas al ajillo, calamares al ajillo. We also ordered an omelette and salad. It remains one of the 2 restos I've tried that serves paella that is good and flavorful enough. If you want paella,... More

Good price, good Spanish buffet My only complain is no free coffee that comes with the buffet But this is still my first choice of restaurant in the block. Meetings or with friends. Would appreciate a good free coffee with the buffet though

It is an old restaurant and serving traditional Spanish cooking. The restaurant is old and smelled as the carpets and the fixtures there are rather aged. However, the food and service there is excellent. I love the paella and lengua. If it can be cooked less salty then would be excellent!!

Love the singing trio - they sang to our family spanish songs and whatever we requested. Even if you're not into spanish food, just come here for a serenade by this group. We came for dinner which is a buffet. Spanish sausages, cheese, bread, fish cooked ceviche style, croquettes, paellas, pasta, scalloped potatoes, lengua, callos, mercedes de brazo, maja blanca,... Went to the Alba Restaurante Espanol with a business group about 30 people. It was buffet style which appears to be their standard set up. I was on a business trip and our host selected the restaurant. The place was clean and the tables were set up in rows, about 15 people per row of tables. The atmosphere had a... More

Our staycation in Quezon City started off with a big bang of a lunch buffet at Alba. This is an old school Spanish restaurant serving buffet style with ala carte options. My wife and I opted for the lunch buffet. The spread was modest but filled with quality viands such as cochinillo, lengua, and lots more Spanish small dishes. My... More

You know quality at its best when you visit any branch and the food and service is consistently excellent - like Albas. It's not as wide and big as its newer MOA branch but it's more intimate. And the glass windows make you feel you're inside a church. The waitstaff are attentive and will serve you water (and refill) them... More
