Love the ambiance

My aunt celebrated her 80th birthday here and I love how they fixed the old house of Pres. Romulo and made it modern. Good Filipino food. Love looking at the old pictures hanged on the wall. It was also a nice place to have a romantic dinner.

Café Romulo is a quaint fine dining restaurant that offers traditional Filipino favourites. Flying Tilapia, Kare Kare, Gising-gising, adobo etc. What makes the food different is the way they cook it. The Flying Tilapia is an innovative creation. Fried to a crisp, the whole fish is placed on a dish with the meat cut off such that it appears to... More

Food is always consistently good. Service is friendly and welcoming. Prices are not bad for the quantity served. I always feel at home whenever i visit this restaurant. This location can handle small to medium size parties. I'm glad to have this location nearby for satisfying Filipino fare.

Had dinner with 4 guest and the food was good. Authentic and felt like home cooked food. The place is not big but feel comfortable with a indoor and alfresco seating. Ordered 5 dishes and with garlic rice, fresh juices and 2 beer and the bill is less than PHP 3000. Good value and will return to try other dishes.

I truly enjoyed our lunch at Romulo's. It was good Filipino food with classy ambiance. Usually you get one or the other but not both. The place is also separated in different private rooms for middle to big groups but still kept their privacy. I especially like the place was not bombarded with loud sound system makes me enjoy my... My cousin got married in this place, almost got lost to find the place, but it was certainly worth of the trip. The Seafood Kare-kare was definitely mouthwatering and exceeded my expectations. Now their seafood kare kare is my one truly standard and no one beats Romulo Cafe so far... worth it price,. great servings.. excellent taste! Looking forward to... More

A friend took us here for her Birthday Lunch and we all had a good time. The homey atmosphere, the warm service and the authentic dishes from the Romulo family all made the experience memorable. It was a bit difficult to find but in the end the place was cozy and was in a quiet area of Quezon City. We... More

I looked for a central place to take overseas co-workers for lunch (living near to this restaurant so they wouldn't have to travel far) and saw mixed reviews; however, the majority of them were applauding the food. The food to me was pretty good yet the 'locals' that we were with said it was average so they get a +... More

I love how this place looks very cozy and homey amidst the busy streets of the Tomas Morato area. Though this restaurant is quite hard to find, I can say it was worth the time and the visit. It has small rooms perfect for intimate gatherings with your friends and loved ones. I also love how simple and classic the... More
