Went to this restaurant after several years of hearing and reading about it. Location and ambiance were good, service was attentive, food came quickly and portions were huge, we were there for dinner and I guess these were their dinner portions. Food quality was average, went home with plenty of leftovers. Would recommend if you are looking for a nice... More

The restraunt is owned and operated the family of the late Foreign Minister Carlos P. Romulo and its walls are covered in pictures memorializing his life. Romulo appears to be the Forrest Gump of the Philippines, ther are pictures of him with Kennedy, pictures of him wading ashore in Leyte with MacArthur and shots of him with many other dignitaries... Romulo's cafe offers ambience and history in one place. Its menu is basically fusion of asian and filipino cuisine. Must try are their gambas and two way fried fish. The drink cool as a cucumber is also a must. The price is mid range.

The place is really nice and the ambiance is cozy while being intimate. Nice place to hang out for drinks over conversation with friends. The food is more on the average level and I find the taste falling a bit lower in terms of standards compared to it's sister restaurant Cerchio. The choices are adequate though and they serve more... We've been here once & the food was great, ambiance is also nice, being quite homey since this was a former residence, place could get fully booked on Sundays though as there are more families, groups eating there. Would definitely go back.

My friends and I had dinner in their Kapayapaan room. We love everything we ordered. It is prepared, presented and tasted well and good. I specially love their Kare-kare, the appetizer of crunchy taro with cheese, their mocktails, the honey spareribs, the kaldereta with queso de bola and the banoffee pie. Everything we ordered arrived promptly. The waitstaff are attentive.What... More

You cannot missed one of their specialty, the Crispy Pata. If you want a different ambiace, Romulo Cafe is one of the best situated in Quezon City. Place is cozy specially for couples. Quiet and a bit romantic ambiance. You should try this!
