Everything was great except for the food itself. The ambience was beautiful and the service was prompt. The iced tea was refreshing, unlike the so-called "home-brewed tea" that other restaurants claim. The food wasn't very tasty, and there was just too much mushroom in both main dishes that we ordered. The presentation/plating was great. The entire experience wasn't bad at... More

My partner and I was scouting for a good place to eat at maginhawa and chose Pino. We went there on a Sunday at around 7:30 which is 30mean away from closing time. Still we were welcomed which is a plus. The hardest part of dining at a place for a first is choosing what to order. Of course, I... More

The star ingredient in this restaurant is bagnet. For Ilocano's though, the way they prepare bagnet would not exactly qualify. It's more like litson kawali. Your blood pressure and cholesterol is sure to shoot up after the meal. Haha. Try their Bagnet Tofu tower and Bagnet kare-kare. The main downside of this restaurany is it's air conditioning. By all means... More

Pino has long been a go-to place for food lovers in the Food Haven called Maginhawa :) I've been here quite a few times and what keeps me from coming back is the really tasty and well-prepared dishes Come here and taste their delicious "Kare-Kareng Bagnet" Oh, I also happened to like their Nori Cheese Sticks :D Desserts won't disappoint... Its my second time to visit the restaurant and this time I came with my family. Minus the waiting time even if you have reserved a table already, the second experience was just as good. For Starters, we had their Crispy Shrimps with Salted eggs ( they were so crispy that everything including the heads and shells could be eaten),... More

If you get to this place, please try the Cucumber Flavored beer (Pipino), it's refreshing and really nice. The other flavors are also interesting (Green Apple - Cali) and Peach ( A little sweet) but the Lychee flavor doesn't mix well. They have this huge margarita drink which is average, nothing special but they serve it in huge martini glass... More

It's one of the more popular restaurants in the booming Teacher's Village restaurant district, so better get their early since their parking, though plentiful, gets filled fast. Pino offers modern takes on Filipino cuisine like Kare-Kareng Bagnet, Sisig Tacos and the highly-addictive Buffalo Chicken Skin plus some inspired by other Asian countries like their take on the Crispy Hito (Catfish)... The atmosphere is cozy and not that crowded. parking is adequate. There are different Bagnet dishes that you can choose. We tried Kare-kareng Bagnet and Binagoongang Bagnet. Both are delicious but nothing fancy. The best part of our experience is their sisig tacos. It's the best and most delicious tacos so far. Lots of cheese, veggies, and of course, Sisig!

Ate the kare-kareng bagnet and tablea cheesecake for dessert last night. The waiters were cheerful, service was good but somehow slow (the place was packed so it was understandable). What disappointed me was the meal I ordered, the kare-kareng bagnet. It was not as crispy as I imagined it to be and the vegetables that came with it made my... More
