dined in ninyo last night for our 5th anniversary. we expected a lot from this restaurant because of the great reviews. sad to say, we were disappointed by both the food and service. cons: -no receptionist or waiter to entertain us when we arrived there, I approached the waiter after waiting for 15mins outside -the staff is too busy entertaining... No wonder this restaurant was ranked among the best romantic restaurants here in Metro Manila. And when they say romantic, it really is romantic. First of all, Ninyo is a secluded restaurant hidden at Katipunan. I think it's a residential house converted to a commercial restaurant based on its layout. The moment you walk in through the garage, you will... More

Had our anniversary dinner here and was not disappointed at all. The food and service was excellent. I do highly recommend eating here for a great meal. We bought a discount coupon online for a dinner for two. I would definitely go back again.

I went to Ninyo's because of the great reviews it got here on Tripadvisor. It was my birthday, so my husband and I made a date out of it. I ordered the Tiger Prawns with Asian Hollandaise, and my husband got the US Clod Tender Steak. For the prices they charge, I was expecting to be wowed. The prawns were... More

We celebrated my niece's 18th birthday here today. The decor is shabby-chic: mismatched wooden chairs, retro paneled mirrors, romantic outdoor cabanas, etc. We ordered the oysters and the mussels as appetizers. I am allergic to them so I didn't get to taste it, but my husband, who normally hates mussels, actually enjoyed them. The salmon belly tempura rolls were delicious,... More

My boyfriend surprised me here with a dinner date for our first anniversary. The food was so good. I had this perfectly cooked salmon on what seemed like wasabi flavored mashed potatoes. This totally messed with my brain but i wasn't complaining. It was so different and so good and the wasabi wasn't spicy at all but more of the... More

We celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary here. My wife called in advance to reserve the cabana and asked if we can bring our 1 year old baby along. The restaurant owner was kind enough to accommodate our request and even lent us her granddaughter’s high chair. When we arrived at the restaurant, the waiter ushered us to our table/cabana.... More

Best to call and reserve in advance as their casitas/cabanas are very limited. Also asked if rose petals could be set up, it was possible for a minimal fee. We celebrated our anniversary here. The set up was great and what I really liked about it is the ambiance since you have privacy in your own cabana. We enjoyed the... More

my hubby and i first tried the degustation course back in 2008 - when it was still called inyo's. we loved the surf and turf - salmon and hanging tender steak and i couldn't forget the wasabi fried oysters. i brought the family here to celebrate my brother's birthday a week ago and they also loved the food. service was... I took my fiance here to pop the question. For ambiance, romance, the upscale food at a normal price....there is NOTHING anywhere that can beat Ninyo's. When my fiance excused herself, I got the waiter to take the engagement ringto the chef and have him place it on the top of her dessert. He was all smiles when he learned... More
