Hubby and I had our wedding anniversary lunch here Tiendesitas Branch...and I thought for a change i'll order the chicken barbecue. It was definitely a bad decision! It was like steamed chicken with barbecue sauce smothered all over it:( If not for the usually yummy dessert sampler and the attentive staff... it would've totally ruined the lunch date with hubby!!!

Today is the day my friends and I pledged never to dine at Max's anymore. First, we thought that a new, more fortified management would make improvements on the classic, landmark establishment. Second, we hoped that since Max's group had taken over Pancake House, it was in effect shoring up the combined years of restaurant services. We were dead wrong.... More

Just visited the newly opened Max's in Araneta Coliseum for an early dinner with my husband. The place looks cleaner, brighter and spacious compared with the other branches we had dined in such as Alimall and Farmers. Customer service is very evident since one or two dining crew will automatically assist you as you enter the restaurant down to your... More

We ate here with friends and family on our first night in Quezon City and enjoyed it very much. Besides the fired chicken which is Max's signature dish, we also enjoyed some Philippine meals -- such as sisig, lumpia , Pancit and polvorone . Max's restaurants are pleasant, good for all occasions and serve excellent quality food from a varied... More

Perhaps this one on Quezon Ave. Between the great Eastern hotel & McDonalds was having a bad day the order of fried chicken took longer than it should for a restaurant that does volume fried chicken. It was not as moist as I've had in their other stores. The attendents were not as helpful or friendly. The buko pandan was... More

i have been on a search to find the best fried chicken that can replace my all time favorite, i haven't found it yet, i still prefer max's good old fried chicken with its crispy skin and tasty meat. it has been a family tradition to buy their fried chicken on every special occasion even up to this day and... Labeled the restaurant that fried chicken built, Max's Restaurant is now more than just fried chicken. in fact in my last visit, we barely touched the fried chicken!! :) their servings of filipino traditional foods are mostly generous, the service was generally good and I am glad that in most restaurants, they now serve the whole young buko!
