Ayala Triangle Location - Nice Setting when the Lights are Out, but Extremely Slow Service

Based on the title, I should warn you that the service is extremely slow. Appetizers can be expected to be served in approximately 45 minutes. Everything else comes very quickly after it, which is good because at that point you will be very hungry. The food itself is tasty, but a bit overpriced for... read more

Upon stepping in, the initial impression that Amici gave me was a really good one, it had a spacious look, the decor was not too trying hard. The food on the other hand was a little dissappointing, I was expecting something more rustic or old school taste but I was dissapointed. The pasta that I ordered (bolognese) was textbook recipe... Amici has great italian food. Particularly love their aranccini and their pesto (first time to have it with green beans and potato). Servings are good for sharing for 2-3 people. Price though is definitely a bit high, but worth it now that they have also made it a sit down type of restaurant rather than an order at the counter... More

This experience happened in UP Ayala Technohub branch. My brother in law found a small cockroach in the pesto. Long story short, we only ended up paying just the pizza and drinks. My office is located in the same area. And I know that technohub is infested with cockroaches. I will never eat there again.

They did away with the canteen type ordering where you pay first before they served the food. Now they have waiters who really wait on you. Prices were upped a bit, but surprisingly, the food is even much better. Servings are bigger, pasta tastes fresher. Their version of pastas served by Cibo are bigger, fresher, and better, and better value... More

Its fun to bring family and friends at Amici. They have big tables and can accommodate up to 12 guests per table. It has a very homey feel that we enjoyed our stay. The resto staff is polite and helpful. We had Arrabiatta and Margherita. Would've loved to have gelato but the store was closing already! Maybe we'll just come... More

I agree with another reviewer that Amici needs to be more consistent. It's not only different from what it used to be but quslity of food and service from branch to branch aren't consistent either. I am grnerally satisfied with the Morato branch but the branch in SM North Edsa which had closed already was not satsfactory at all. Pasta... More

The branch in T Morato was okay. However, the branches located inside the malls are not at par. Hence, it is not surprising that some branches in the mall closed down.
