We'd been eating at this place for some time as we liked the owners. The food was okay, not really grand, but good. One night, we decided to bring my mother to the place, and of all times for them to do it, they cheated us with our bill!!! We ordered a platter that included pizza and other dishes good... More

If you are looking for a fancy restaurant with a romantic ambience, this is not for you. The restaurant is very basic with just walls and tables in a 2 level structure that looks almost like a house. Nothing that will visually impress you. But wait until you taste their food and you will surely change your mind about this... More

Uno is an excellent restaurant with a menu covering pastas, soups, salads, meats and fish and desserts. No sandwiches. Distinctly european, the menu changes every so often so you don't get the same choices all the time. Only the sweets are staples. Their cheesecake is the best ever.I recently went back after years abroad and it has not changed -... More

The food was very tasty! Had the specials (pork tenderloin and chargrilled fish), which came with a complimentary soup! Tried the Lavosh and pea hummus as a starter - super yum!!

Arrived to a nearly empty restaurant (it was Monday), and was not welcomed very warmly. The waitresses didn't seem to have any interest to sell. They were more interested in chatting. The interior was spartan, which is fine in itself but the noisy cake fridge downstairs as well as the neon lighting is not really conducive to a nice dining... More

This is a prime restaurant. I go there at least once a month. I am vegetarian and this is not a vegetarian place. Still, their pastas are great. Their bread is superb and their deserts are wonderful. And when I go off diet and have some meat, this is the place to do it. Menu changes frequently. Yesterday we tried... More

Tucked away in a quiet portion of the usually bustling streets of T. Morato is an equally nondescript restaurant which is unpretentious in both service and presentation. An evening visit on a Friday night saw us an almost empty albeit clean restaurant. A menu printed on plain white paper suggests that their food selection changes every so often, probably depending... The place is clean, plain wooden square tables, starchy white tablecloth, straight back chairs. I am quite amazed by the food...so simple yet very gourmet. Today I had squash soup, salad with mushroom, blue cheese and bacon, and salted cod, olives and mushroom pasta. And the bread tops them all. They serve warm bread with butter or olive oil. I... More

Met an associate over lunch at this restaurant, which he picked. Wasn't exactly thrilled (please refer to my previous post), but boy, was I in for a nice surprise. Seated on the first floor this time, I noticed that the servers were very comfortable with the other guests, signs that they were regulars. My friend and I picked the same... More

My husband's friend hosted a dinner here about two weekends ago. Our friend lived in the San Juan area, so for him to choose a QC restaurant means it must be really worth it. Besides, they've invited us to dinner to this restaurant twice before and this was the first time we were able to attend. The bread was served... More
