Never been into Japanese food until I went to this restaurant. Food is absolutely great, nice menu for lunch, very good service. Need to make reservation for lunch as it is very well known by locals and expats. The best Japanese I ever had.

I wrote this place down as one of the restaurants I wanted to eat at. We took a taxi from Global City and were dropped off at the address, by the mall. We couldn't find it. We gave up and were looking for a taxi when I turned around and there it was. They have signs but the place doesn't... More

The food at serina is actually very good. The presentation is what makes the food here so delectable. The place is a place to be seen. The crowd is usually Yuppies from the Makati financial district.

Seryna is located beside Makati Cinema Square and is flanked by Little Tokyo (this should merit a separate review) and a Health Spa. The food is excellent. It can even, in some degree, rival the big name Japanese restaurants in Makati (read:Sugi). Their lunch set meals offer great value but dinner time is a different story. When you go at... More

First I went to Serina, we didn't got the chance to dine since we don't have a reservation. It was full. The second time, my friend made a reservation so we got in this time. Food were really superb. A lot of Japanese expats came here so that's just say a lot to this restaurant. It's a lil pricey but... More

This is a great place for lunch, and you can see a lot of Japanese expats eating here. Many times it is SRO and people must wait for their turn. My absolute favorite is the KAISEN GOZEN which is slices of fresh raw seafood (tuna, salmon, uni, etc.) on a bed of vinegared rice. The set comes with soup, salad,... More

Whenever I'm in Manila, I always go out of my way to have lunch at Seryna. The restaurant serves Japanese set meals during lunch hours which is a must try for those who enjoy Japanese food. However, I don't recommend eating dinner here because they don't offer their set meals at night and customers are forced to order ala carte... More

One of the good tasting authentic Japanese restaurants in Makati. I just noticed that ambiance may not be great for families as most of the clientele here (just like most authentic Japanese restaurants in Manila) is the the typical Japanese old men with very young Filipina partner.
