Walked past the cafe Adriatico and had the unfortunate idea of stopping for some late dinner. The emmenthal in the omelette was hard to chew and probably a left over from the Bar opening in 1979. The prawns in garlic were more appalling if possible; frozen and scary fishy tasting. The sauce had some odd, metallic back taste i could... More

If I'm ever in the Adriatico area - in the vicinity of Luneta, Robinson's Manila, or Malate Church - and are not sure where to have a meal then Cafe Adriatico is definitely one of my go-to places. I've been going here since college. When the guys would crave for the best Salpicao with garlic rice in the Philippines, it... More

I was in Mabini Road and was guided by my Agent friend Mdm Dorothy by walking few minutes to Adriatico Cafe. I wasn't expecting much as am still full from my normal lunch near a roadside Restaurant opposite Robinson Mall. Once entered the corner shop, we found it is 80% full at 4pm, we found a table for 4 of... More

The food is good with a varied menu of Philippino and International cuisine. The service is slow and with a large group - 12 - meals arrived at different times which was not nice for the group. Pork knuckle is recommended as are the salads. Quite expensive too, but overall worth a visit.

Good service and pretty good local fare in a pleasant Old World environment. Best thing on the menu is 'Lola Ising's Adobo Rice'. This large plate really hits the spot when you're starving. Worst thing on the menu: 'Squid Tactics'. The description makes it sound interesting but frankly, it sucks. Just boring and bland. Not sure why they keep it... More

My husband grew up near the Malate area and this is one of the restaurants that he frequented back in the day. He took me to dine here for the first time for our anniversary and I must say, Cafe Adriatico made it to my personal list of great restaurants in the metro. We had their Corn soup for our... More

Good view over Remedios, food looked ok but we stuck to cold bottles of SMB. (You can get it for half price across the street.) Just another slightly disappointing bar in Manila I'm afraid.

While it is an institution in Malate, Manila, it does maintain its old charm and consistently good food. Have been there a couple times for lunch, and enjoyed the humus dips, olives and bread, as well as the french onion soup. Tried a Filipino dish on the menu and didn't enjoy it. Worth a visit if you find yourself stuck... More

Great food, Outdoor seating, Traditional Spanish ambience, pleasant staff, good value. Arrive early if you want a good seat as it very popular.
