Waited too long.....

I've been living in the Fort for 8 months and wished I tried this sooner. Food was great and Ice cream was fantastic. Give it a try..I don't think you will be disappointed.

The Rose has been open for a year in Bonifacio Global City for lunch and dinner. It is an intimate sushi bar where the sushi floats out on small boats in a flowing 'river'. Sashimi is ornately arranged in the shape of a rose. The seafood is purchased fresh daily from the early morning fish market so in addition to... More

Out from work and it was early lunch time, my colleague and I were walking along 31st St and we passed by a menu stand outside the Rose. Curious about the list we stopped and glance on it- Yes! Japanese food, a bit hesitant tho coz there isn't really a decent Japanese restaurant I've been to here in Manila- that's... More

Was looking to sample good sushi in Manila & looking at reviews on TA, this seemed like the place to go. 3 of us had Happy Hour Sushi (P25), Firecracker Edamame (P180), Triple Mushroom Miso Soup (P150), Salmon Sushi (P160), Cheese Salmon Sushi (P180), Tamari Sushi Trio (P120) & downed them all with chilled Taru Sake (P1000). The edamame was... More

My daughter and I celebrated Mother's Day one day ahead. We had dinner at Rose. I found this restaurant one day by accident when I had to meet with a friend at the Fort. They have happy hour from Mon-Fri. Anything in the sushi boats cost P25.00/dish. I was surprised that the sushi is good. We were just happy getting... More

I couldn't be happier with the food, service, & atmosphere. The Ice Cream was shockingly amazing (i'm kind of an ice cream snob). Anything I wanted they were willing to put it together for us...LOVE LOVE LOVE Rose! Its a must try

Our last night on our honeymoon vacation to the Philippines we decided to spoil ourself with sushi. After finding Rose on trip advisor, we decided to go and see, if it could impress us as well. The restaurant has a bit of a raw design, very straightlined with locally made wooden chairs and tables - very beautiful with a really... More

This place has quickly become one of my most favourite places to eat. The sushi is very good and has actually become even better with the hiring of their new executive chef. What can I say the menu is pretty great... my fave dishes are Rose Beef, Tuna of the land rolls, Wilde Roll and of course the Firecracker Edamame... More

I've visited Rose several times and it is ALWAYS amazing. The firecracker edamame is seriously addicting. I have never had edamame as flavorful and love the spicy kick. I also love the mushroom miso soup and the vegetable tempura (I'm a vegetarian) with whole cloves of garlic. No trip to Rose could be complete without their ice cream. It is... More

Since moving to Manila, Rose has surely become me and my wife's favorite place to eat. I think we have been more then a dozen times. The food is excellent and recently got even better when they hired a new sushi chef that brought years of experience to the place and really kicked the sushi up a notch. We try... More
