I've been living in the Fort for 8 months and wished I tried this sooner. Food was great and Ice cream was fantastic. Give it a try..I don't think you will be disappointed.

Out from work and it was early lunch time, my colleague and I were walking along 31st St and we passed by a menu stand outside the Rose. Curious about the list we stopped and glance on it- Yes! Japanese food, a bit hesitant tho coz there isn't really a decent Japanese restaurant I've been to here in Manila- that's... More

Was looking to sample good sushi in Manila & looking at reviews on TA, this seemed like the place to go. 3 of us had Happy Hour Sushi (P25), Firecracker Edamame (P180), Triple Mushroom Miso Soup (P150), Salmon Sushi (P160), Cheese Salmon Sushi (P180), Tamari Sushi Trio (P120) & downed them all with chilled Taru Sake (P1000). The edamame was... More

Our last night on our honeymoon vacation to the Philippines we decided to spoil ourself with sushi. After finding Rose on trip advisor, we decided to go and see, if it could impress us as well. The restaurant has a bit of a raw design, very straightlined with locally made wooden chairs and tables - very beautiful with a really... More

This place has quickly become one of my most favourite places to eat. The sushi is very good and has actually become even better with the hiring of their new executive chef. What can I say the menu is pretty great... my fave dishes are Rose Beef, Tuna of the land rolls, Wilde Roll and of course the Firecracker Edamame... More

I've visited Rose several times and it is ALWAYS amazing. The firecracker edamame is seriously addicting. I have never had edamame as flavorful and love the spicy kick. I also love the mushroom miso soup and the vegetable tempura (I'm a vegetarian) with whole cloves of garlic. No trip to Rose could be complete without their ice cream. It is... More

Since moving to Manila, Rose has surely become me and my wife's favorite place to eat. I think we have been more then a dozen times. The food is excellent and recently got even better when they hired a new sushi chef that brought years of experience to the place and really kicked the sushi up a notch. We try... More

Sushi off the miniature boats, fresh and priced right! The sushi bar located in the middle of the restaurant is actually very cool: various kinds of sushi are placed atop model boats while "sailing" on the water around the bar. My buddies and I couldn't resist trying just about all that floated by and still new ones kept coming in.... More

When I stepped into Rose the first thing I noticed was the little boats of sushi floating around. Instead of the traditional conveyor system of sushi delivery, the owner has installed a "sushi river" filled with little boats that have different types of sushi. The design of Rose is a minimalist and constructivist mixture, with compliments the other elements of... More

Rose is a treat every time my wife and I eat there. We always have the sushi boat plates for a starter. We tried the new Happy hour the yesterday basically 500 pesos all you can eat sushi boat plates and all you can drink San Miguel Draft beer. Where can you go wrong? Rose is my favorite place for...
