Breakfast buffet is typical BUT in a grand setting

Comparing to other 5 star hotels, breakfast is typical and has passed my expectations. But what made the experience memorable was the grand setting inside the Filipino-themed Manila Hotel.

this was a very good place to eat, buffet with several different counters with food from different countries to chose from, all were very good as was the desert counter, I was here on Thanksgiving, there was a roasted turkey that was better than most Americans could make

This cafe offers everything from most cuisines you can think of. I ate my way from Japan to Spain to India to Italy and there were still more options. The dessert bar was amazing. All I can say is it is worth every peso to eat here!!!! They also offer free breakfast. You just have to give your room number.... More

Try the fried crabs and prawns, delicious!! The steak and lamb are also good. I also spent a lot of time in the Japanese station. Breakfast needs more spice and salt. Its a bit bland.

Not only did it have a great selection of food (sushi, Oysters on the half shell, lobster, etc) but the service staff was phenomenal!

The buffet breakfast is so yummy! It was great to get an international spread. It was a nice change from our limited choices of breakfast. Staff just need to ask guests whether they would like tea or coffee, once they are seated. I was the one who had to seek out the tea and coffee and then they said they... More

We noticed the quality of buffets are fast deteriorating, even those in hotels. Well, not Cafe Ilang-Ilang. The selection is wide and of quality. I especially enjoyed the cheese board. Fruits are fresh and not from cans and offers a good array of international spread. I just wished that the fruit juices were fresh. The only thing that bothered me... More

Breakfast very good but go elsewhere for a Lunch Buffet. Better value in the Shangri-La in Makati. poor choice and no US Beef at the carvery (only Brazilian of dubious quality...)

I have tried a lot of five star hotel restaurants in Manila but I must say Cafe Ilang Ilang is the Best Buffet ever! They have variety of food from Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Filipino and a lot more. Plus their desserts choices are really excellent. Good service, good ambience, good food ...its worth the price. Will surely come back....👍👍
