The buffet is quite expensive so our family goes only on very special occasions. The decor is elegant. Servers are attentive. The layout is unique, in other words, weird and confusing. The Japanese station is tucked away in the back or is it the front. It almost has its own entryway. There is sooo much food that there is no... More

Ate here with a friend last week. Underwhelmed to say the least. I will say that I loved the room – it was well decorated and features a unique layout. I’m told this restaurant is famous for its buffet – did a survey of what was available, some of it was well presented and a couple items I even wanted... More

A nice space, very pleasant, good service, decent menu selection -- but the food itself is average, especially for a hotel of the calibre of the Manila Hotel. Quite expensive too -- I wouldn't choose to eat there unless I had to, beyond the reasonable breakfast buffet that they serve.

Wide selection of food, nice steak, delicious roast duck but the old japanese chef is not that friendly, Why did I say that ? Because when my son ask for a certain kind of sushi, the old chef ignored him and told him that it is not available but when in fact he saw somebody requested for it and got... More

I had buffet breakfast at this Café during my recent stay at the Manila Hotel. Breakfast had a huge array of selections catering for various nationalities. Lots of Filipino, Western and Asian choices available. Buffet was very impressive and one of the better buffet breakfasts Ive been to. Seating can be indoor or outdoor. The outdoor dining area around the... More

We have eaten here a couple of times already but i will never get tired giving good ratings for this posh restaurant. We had our first breakfast for 2014 here. The food selection was great. Fruits are fresh and i like their different types of bread, fresh and delicious. It is always great to dine in here.

This is a fascinating dinner concept: attentive waiters folding your napkin every time you get up and keeping your water glass topped, an abundance of food--your choice and as much as you want--from hand-made caesar salad to juicy prime rib to exquisite fresh gelatos and everything in between in 5 different cuisines (Western, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai)--including ostrich--and help yourself.... Manila Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Metro Manila, the coffee shop in the hotel used to be an 'in' place especially if one wanted to have bibingka (local rice cake) in a hotel setting. They did some renovations before and started a buffet but it did not reall 'click' given the competition, then they really totally renovated... More
