Very nice buffet

Place is good and cozy. Selection of food was great, the food it self was A-ok. Japanese section was superb. Service could be a little bit slow, should be more attentive.

The Manila Hotel is to my knowledge the oldest and most historically significant Hotel in the Philippines. It's Café Ilang-Ilang Buffet (named after the fragrant flower found all throughout the Archipelago) is actually quite the bargain. For what you pay you get an excellent buffet that focuses on quality ingredients and offerings rather than trying to simply overwhelm you with... More

The service was good, the atmosphere wonderful, but the food was good and not great. We had 2 breakfasts and one dinner during this trip and was not wowed at any of them. It is sad to see a once great place offer slightly less than the best.

I enjoyed 4 breakfasts here while staying in the hotel and each day was a treat. The only items I repeated were the fresh mango juice and my daily cappuccino, everything else was different. Where else can you enjoy an Indian mutton curry with naan or some Korean miso and kimchi or Chinese style dim sum and steamed buns as... More

Had daily breakfast for three days her and always anticipate for what's coming next! I love the variety and the service they provide. Staff just have to create a system so nobody waits for more than 20 minutes by the entrance.

Started going to Ilang-Ilang (lunch) since the 1980s when menu was still ala carte. Fondest memory was the crepe samurai (mango crepe) which was excellent. Returned in the 90s and food was still good. Been out of the country for decades and decided to dine there with family when we visited the Philippines in December. Gone is the ala carte... More

Amazing breakfast buffet! The coffee kept flowing and what a novelty having cakes at brekky! Red velvet to die for! Lovely friendly staff, one lady (forgot her name but she used to live in Qatar) was so friendly and chatty, as were everyone else there. Had veggie pasta for dinner too, lovely fresh veg MMMM!
