Nice Fried Squid w/ Hot Pepper (Kong-Pao)

for chinese food that is a bit on the spicy side, go to Sze-chuan House. The place looks kinda old but the food is worth the trip. Their menu items typically come in three sizes: small, medium, large. On the menu, spicy foods are marked with a small picture of a chili so you know the spiciness... read more

When we were invited by our good friend to have dinner at this restaurant, we sort of expected that the food will be good. We were wrong. It was not good alright because it was excellent. We devoured like wolves, denied food for days, every dish that was served at our table. The best of the best however was the... More

We went there the four of us, all keen on Chinese delicacies. We should not be disappointed. Every single item we had was delicious in its own way. I think that already says a lot because, honestly, how many time have you eaten at a chinese and no matter what you ordered it all tasted the same? Not so a... More

We've been patrons of Szechuan House eversince I could remember . . . They do pride themselves of delicious food from beef, fish, their famous Szechuan Chicken and soup. Fish can go from fish fillet to fish by the grams of your choice. . . just ask your food attendant. Not a regular Chinese restaurant . . . though just... More

I treated my college friends a sumptous lunch to this restaurant because of the rave reviews I got. Actually, the last visit I had here prior to this one was around 6 years ago. Back then I fell in love with their Pata Tim (Braised Pork Knucles) with friend mantau bread. The restaurant is inside the Aloha Hotel and an... More

We had my birthday dinner celebration here because I missed so much the fried string beans which I have been longing. I have tried this dish from different restaurants but none offered as good as they do. Another must try is the steamed fish in tauso sauce. The ingredients are imported from China so there is nothing compared to it.... More

Instead of going to Chinatown for authentic Chinese food, my family and i go to Sze Chuan instead. We have patronized this restaurant for years and they have consistenly maintained their standard of excellence. They have function rooms where you can host a party for a small group of 12-24 people. They have ample parking spaces and their location is... More
