Dumplings and more

Want to taste really fresh shrimp dumplings (Ha gao)? Don't miss Golden Fortune. The dumplings are really fresh and the garlic sauce dip this place has is awesome. As most of us have awesome appetites, we hogged along. It was a rainy evening and being Indian, we wanted some soup reminding us of... read more

one of the worst service for chinese restaurant I've ever been to, everything is chaotic. waiters, managers are standing around for display only. everything has to be repeated again and again. cashier is confused. Food is not good either. not worth it!

Five stars for the service which is superb. Three waiters served our food in just around 20 minutes after we ordered. Some minus points for serving the appetizer after the main courses, however. But overall, one can see waiters around the customers waiting to be of service. Three stars for food. The shrimp in "rebusado" is too small, that the... More

Golden Fortune Chinese restaurant, Manila, Philipines. I was taken out to dinner here by my friend who frequently goes here for dinner. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. We started with a vegetable soup followed by some roast duck, fish, crab and vegetables. The crab cooked with salted egg was particularly nice. Most dishes were withing 200-300 Phillipines Pesos... There's a discount on dimsum during 2pm-5pm and 9pm til they close which is around 1pm as long as they have dimsum left. Lots of people also come here after 9pm for the discount on their shabu shabu. The place usually gets full from 9pm-11pm because of the shabu shabu. You have to know what you want though if you... More

This is a late post but nevertheless, i wanted to share our family's great chinese food experience in Golden Fortune Kalaw. My husband is not a chinese food fanatic but he was looking for something to eat nearby Manila area while I was craving for Chinese Food that time. So we went to Golden Fortune. I went to eat here with my wifes family after a tiresome day looking for bathroom supplies for our house. So we went in this restaurant and ordered some ala carte ordinary Chinese dishes for 8 pax and also asked for house tea. We ordered dimsum for starters. Typically you`ll have to asks for 3 thing as condiment one is... More

You can choose from different menu which are practically budget-friendly. Everything that they serve are really great. The only problem though is during rainy season. The area where they are located (the one in Kalaw) is flood-prone. So if you are planning to visit the restaurant, look up the sky if the sun is shining pretty.
