All the fast food places are here in Manila, but Jollibee sticks out ,I am not a fast food person but it was decent for short money. Quick bites it's cool.

Don't get me wrong. I grew up with Jollibee even before it grew to the fastfood giant that it is. But having the perspective of growing up with a food establishment, one cannot dismiss the feeling of disappointment when the quality and taste of the food has slowly moved down a couple of notches from what I was used to.... The burgers are really not to my taste... they are sweat, so if you like sweat/sugar full burgers, you'll love Jollibee. The fries are cooked in an oil that was not in my taste either.

I know what I asked for, but I don't know what I ate. The chicken was really good. Spicy. The Cheese burger was terrible. I had heard of this place, so I wanted to try it. Not for Americans. Just go to McDonalds.

The restaurants identity of American food in Filipino taste is remarkable that made this restaurant a institution and gave Mcdonalds a serious challenge everywhere.

You must eat there at least once. Good fried chicken served with rice and gravy. The egg rolls are not bad and either is the spaghetti although the sauce is very sweet.

Why is it a must? Simply because this is the most popular Filipino FAST FOOD chain. You could see this anywhere in the Philippines (of course, not in remote places). Do not expect healthy food here. After all, this is FAST FOOD. Who serves healthy meals in a fast food restaurant? Neverland. Try Chickenjoy and JollySpaghetti. Chicken and Pasta, Filipino-style.

Since i do not eat pork/beef, its hard for me to rely on some restaurants who mention just chicken but still add ham to the dishes. Jollibee has been a good place for me to eat during my 4 day stay in Philippines. The food is tasty and surprisingly i preferred Jollibee over KFC.

The food and the service is pretty good in the Jollibee in Mall of Asia, its just that there are soooo many people wanting to eat every day no matter what time you go in there...If you are ok with waiting, you won't find cheaper food pretty much anywhere else unless you eat at the food court which I don't...
