Will go to Manilla just to eat here again

This is by far the most unforgettable meal of my life. We experienced the dinning inside of an old house. A visit around the house gave us the story of the people and the restaurant. Table setting was fantastic. I just wondered how they can use these expensive Chinawares to serve random diners. The... read more

The house is very nice and well preserved, no doubts about it, and the short tour pre dinner is just ok. The sore point is the food itself which I found mostly bland and flavorless (not to mention overpriced) that did not meet my high expectations after the excellent reviews. I would also like to point out how the attitude... More

The tour of the house is interesting, but the food it self is mediocre and not worthy of the price per head. The whole dining experience also felt very rushed as the waitresses started removing plates while some were still eating. Really not worth it. Very disappointed.

It is always a big event for my family to have dinner at Tita Moning's. The ambience is that of rich old Manila and my brothers, who are normally clad in faded denims, even dress up for it without being told. The food is as great as the ambience especially the paella, the salads and the lengua. Don't skip the... More

Situated very near Malacanang Palace in Manila in fact perpendicular to it. The ancestral home of the legarda-Prieto_Valdez family transformed into a restaurant. Old world elegant dining ala Downton Abbey. Food is served by the waiters amid the original table settings. It serves as a museum as well and gives you a glimpse of life in that era. Very interesting... More

A restaurant experience like no other in the world. An absolute must try if you are in Manila! The food, presentation & service was amazing, but what makes this an unforgettable meal is the location. The house and everything in it has been perfectly preserved. You really feel like you have gone in a time machine back in time and... More

Restaurant is an old ancestral home of the Legarda's near Malacanang. Gives one a bit of history and appreciation of the days gone by ... the architecture, the dining settings, and how food tasted and lavishly prepared then. Dishes we had for the evening was top notch. We had the set menu with lapu lapu. The bread pudding was light,... More

Our experience here was such a treat! We bought a coupon online for the dinner menu for 8 pax and we weren't disappointed. The house/mansion itself was very romantic at night, there were lots of little lights highlighting the patio and trees of the compound. Upon arriving we were asked a choice of refreshments and given the menu for the... More

First of all, the house was very interesting; the family was able to preserve most of the original owners' things and so it was very educational that they started our meal with a tour of the whole house. The food they served also played a part in the family's history and so it was like partaking a meal back in... More

we had a unique and god experience here in march 2015. we got the tour around the old mansion, before dinner in the dinningroom of the house. Food was great, with a little history about the family and the servants, some still working there, in the house. Highly recommend this to everybody, you can not get this dinningexperience anywhere else.... More
