Still awesome

December 2015 was our most recent visit. Food is really good, hands down. I always order the goose liver. It's one of the best I've had, that's why we keep coming back for it and it's always better than the last time and doesn't cost so much. Even the other dishes are really good. Service is always... read more

My family and I have great memories about Cafe Ysabel but dining there last week was a big disappointment. The staff were so occupied serving the table of the owner and his guests that other customers were left unattended. It took more than an hour for our food to be served. The Oysters Rockefeller were still great but the Lengua... More

We used to frequent this restaurant before, and when we went abroad, we still made it a point to visit this place whenever we are in the Manila. However, the Cafe Ysabel of today is not the same Cafe Ysabel that we have learned to love. And the last time that we were here was last February 5. We made... More

I have eaten here numerous times before. But All i can say is that management has not been looking after their patrons. the food was cold and the waiters were ignoring us. i dont know if on purpose or what. I dont recommend this place to anyone.especially couples. The owner seemed to be KIA in this place

My sister and I, along with my two daughters went to Cafe Ysabel last Saturday, January 9, at about 3 pm. We were really scouting for a good place for a family event late this year. We were excited because for my sister and I Cafe Ysabel was a place full of memories. Our family patronized this restaurant eversince it... More

There is ample parking. There is a culinary school there. Very Spanish. Food serving size is generous. The ambiance? you can imagine how families lived in elegance and spaciousness 70 years ago. Quiet and dimly lit, it provides a romantic atmosphere and wherein one can relax and contemplate.

The food was more interesting in the early '90s, but it has become an extension of my den. One sits at the same table to order coffee, soup, salad, pasta or fish, then more coffee. They know that I'm usually in a rush, & they always accommodate that.

It was a wedding, and the place was good for it. A bit tight to get around, but that's what made it cozy. Great chicken and salad, topped by the mango jubilee. Wine was flowing and so was the laughter. Good crowd

I have been going to Cafe Ysabel since they were located on Wilson St. Cafe Ysabel really shone when they were at Wilson St. In the mid-90's, I used to bring a book to read along with my coffee and gambas. That was then, when I had a lot of time to kill. Yesterday, i went to Cafe Ysabel again... More
