I like their strawberry shortcake, their steaks, the Bobby Chin's pizza... mostly all the food they serve. It's a very good gastronomical experience. I always recommend this restaurant to people who want to have really good food.

Had a dinner meeting here last night. I've been here a couple of times already for lunch and dinner as well. The food is a little heavy. Salad dressing was too much. The Caldereta we couldn't finish since having too much might make one noxious. Filleto steak too thick and can be good for two persons. But the ambiance was... More

Chef Gene Gonzales, Chef Patron of Cafe Ysabel since it opened in the '80's has continued to mesmerised his loyal clientele these past 3 decades! Every time you go and dine in this wonderful 1950's circa house it is as if it is your first time!

Have been here several times. Had dinner, beef was over-cooked, chicken was under-done. Had breakfast, food was terribly oily. A far cry from the glowing reviews of the past. Perhaps they're resting on their laurels?

We decided to celebrate fathers day and my father's 60th bday here today. Was utterly disappointed. I heard from friends how good the food was, with a warning of how bad the service was. I didn't expect it to be this bad! We had reserved a table and arrived promptly at 12nn. We already knew what we wanted so we... More

We frequent Cafe Ysabel everytime we fly to manila simply because their food is really good. We always have the steak, very tender and tasty. The setting is an old filipino house so you can only do so much without ruining its appeal. It's a good place to go on a date or have an intimate dinner with friends and... More

The place is not really known when you take a taxi since their signage is not really visible along the road; however, when you arrive in this place, it would reminisce you in the Spanish era wherein house and interior are all antique with added lights that would surely be perfect for romantic dinner date. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable... More
