Coming to the Philippines from Oman, I was missing my default food. My memories of Shawarma in PH always meant beef, and in middle eastern countries, other than beef, there's chicken. And being a non-red meat fan, it has always been comforting. So finding SSC was like an oasis in the desert. There's shisha with double apple flavor, chicken shawarma... More

A familiar turf – Ermita in Manila. After a friend of mine read and article about SSC we decided to pay the place a visit. We even bumped in our old driver friend Joel who now works at a nearby job agency and he was happy to see us. SSC has 2 sides. The budget side with the turo-turo one... More

First off dont let the location of the place turn you off. While it is situated in one of the side streets of Malate going towards Robinsons Place Ermita where people usually get scared of getting mugged, f your familiar with the place you really have nothing to worry about. Here you get to experience real middle eastern food. The... More

We ordered the foul, hummus, gyros, and baba ganoush. Absolutely delicious. As for the location and ambience, just pretend you're in a Bourne movie and it all works out. Or just order it to take home. It's worth the traffic getting there.

Consistently, over the 4,5 years that have lived and worked in the neighborhood this place provides decent and genuine middle eastern food. You can opt for the low cost version or the high end parlor across the street but the food is always the same. Too bad that the service is not at par with the quality of the food

I start dinning here 16 years ago and saw how their business grew. Sometimes you can see customers with luxury car comes here for take away. The only problem is the environment where the restaurant is located. The arabic food is very good. I brought Japanese, Chinese, American, African and German friends\ chefs to dine Their kebab is very good.... More

If you have been in Mister Kabab in West Avenue/UP Ayala Technohub, or in Persepolis, Katipunan QC..... This wouldn't impress. This is an average restaurant. I'd recommend you to try something else. Something better :)
