Hidden Spot by the Manila Bay

Best spot for sunset while having a bootle of beer....seafood is good at the reasonable price...a good revenue for group dining since they offer the set menu from the range of 6000-12000pp, or they could customize for your needed....I always come by here when i am in the town since the fish market... read more

I don't live around the city, in fact i live 12 hours away from the restaurant but, whenever i come home from overseas, i have to set aside a day or 2 just to come here in Harbor View Restaurant. There is something in this place that makes me come again and again... It's not only the friendly employees or... More

Seafood place on the Harbor. Food was very good but the menu charged 180pp for every 100 grams of lobster. Lobster served was 600 grams (1080pp or $25 U.S. Rounded) and they charged almost $4,200 pesos or close to a $100.00 U.S.

For the few times we've been here -- the experience was nothing but ordinary. We've dined for dinners so I can only assume that the place's main come-on which is the Manila Bay sunset is the one missing from our experience. The food is average, price point is a bit on the high side as this place is really for... More

This place is casual in ambience but the food and location are very good. The seafood dishes are very reasonably priced and they have a good selection of live seafood if you wish to choose. A table toward the end of the pier is a wise choice as you can get the most from the sea breeze and enjoy the... More

We have always liked going to this place to have dinner, especially while watching the sunset. Food is quite pricey for the quality, but you can ignore that when you are served by attentive waiters who delivers your food and drinks in a flash. Not recommended to come here when there is strong wind, or low tide when you can... More

The Harborfront Restaurant in Rizal Park was recommended because we wanted a good view of the famous Manila Bay sunset and take photos. We reserved a table for 5 but had a change tables because there was a guest who was smoking and it bothered us. As to why they allowed him to smoke at his table (he was alone... More

How comes, that this restaurant got such good reviews?! Its just a nice view there but nothing more: like almost everywhere else on the philippines you sit on cheap chairs to cheap plastic tables, the staff serves the wrong drinks, it smells from the dirty sea around the restaurant, the portions are small, the fish is badly prepared and has... Arrived at 7:15 on a Thursday night, and there was hardly any live fish in the tanks to choose from, very disappointing. No live prawns and just two Lapu Lapu (and we picked one of them) which we had steamed. For the two of us, we also ordered the Baby Squid (small but delicious) off the menu and an order... More

I come here all the time. I like to come before sunset and have some cold beers on the pier before ordering dinner. If you're visiting Manila, you owe it to yourself to come out here to escape the noise and pollution, and have some authentic Pinoy food. My favorites include: 1. Crispy pata (deep fried pork leg) 2. Adobong... More
