After all these years, Via Mare can still be counted on to deliver great traditional Filipino food. It is an institution and an old reliable. Everything on the menu is good. A must try when you are in Manila. Just the thought of it is making my mouth water!

Was really excited about trying this place out in light of all the good reviews. But it was just ordinary the famous purple dessert was also just ok. The locals seemed to be really enjoying it so maybe it was just us. Service was prompt.

I have been to via mare for a couple of times but this will be my first time to write about the place.Cafe Via mare, I must say is serving the greatest puto bumbong in town. My family and I patronize this place just for the puto bumbong,Until we tried their main courses. They've been serving Filipino dishes with such... More

The location is awesome grab a coffee or a quick bite once you get tired and want a break from your shopping marathon. The coffee is freshly brewed and steaming hot a rarity in fast paced shopping malls. Though I did feel it can be slight,y lower priced. However the place was packed with local Filipinos so they sure have... More

Been to Cafe Via Mare many times but this is the first ti,e I am reviewing it. I like coming here whether for light snacks of lumpiang sariwa or for lunch of native delicacies. Quality has been consistent thru the years you would think their chef and kitchen staff have been with them for a hundred years. Great restaurant. Great... More

Cafe via mare's (Greenbelt branch) merienda selections are always been family's favorite. They tastes like heaven! The servings are quite big and prices are reasonable. Though the serving time isn't the fastest! Be sure that when you grab your merienda here, you are willing to waste your time waiting for the food to be served. nevertheless, they are so delicous,... Whenever I crave for bibingka this is the only place that comes to mind-soft and fluffy. I also like their pancit luglug.

Their oysters are always great, fresh and so yummy. Ever since I have been eating at this restaurant, starting when I landed in Manila in 1998, and truly recommend their seafood, but one thing stands out there are their dishes made out of oysters.

Restaurants have their own style of cooking food and Cafe Via Mare is one place I visit to have an order of their beef Salpicao, tender tasty and something truly worth having when dining here. The ambiance of the resto itself gives you that welcoming feeling and ordering is not a long wait. Their service is given with a smile and... More

You should try their bibingka ang pansit luglog. Their bibingka is just the right size for single servings. I like the one that has melted cheese on top, so delicious! My other favorite is their pancit luglog. Whenever we have visitors from abroad we bring them here. The service is always great and the food fantastic!
