Via mare has been in business since the 70's and to this day I can swear I go to Via Mare when I want to eat delicious Filipino or Spanish cuisine at very reasonable prices. I like their 'kare-kare' and their 'lechon'...I also like their 'arroz ala cubana' among many others including 'Pinoy' merienda favourites like 'guinataan halo halo', 'putt... More

Via Mare is one restaurant that has consistently kept the excellent quality of their food, even in their branches, through the years. We had a light snack here yesterday before heading to a late dinner. The arroz caldo, dinuguan at puto, tokwa't baboy and palitaw were very good and comforting. It is Filipino food at its best. The waiters just... More

After all these years, Via Mare can still be counted on to deliver great traditional Filipino food. It is an institution and an old reliable. Everything on the menu is good. A must try when you are in Manila. Just the thought of it is making my mouth water!

Was really excited about trying this place out in light of all the good reviews. But it was just ordinary the famous purple dessert was also just ok. The locals seemed to be really enjoying it so maybe it was just us. Service was prompt.

The location is awesome grab a coffee or a quick bite once you get tired and want a break from your shopping marathon. The coffee is freshly brewed and steaming hot a rarity in fast paced shopping malls. Though I did feel it can be slight,y lower priced. However the place was packed with local Filipinos so they sure have... More

Been to Cafe Via Mare many times but this is the first ti,e I am reviewing it. I like coming here whether for light snacks of lumpiang sariwa or for lunch of native delicacies. Cafe via mare's (Greenbelt branch) merienda selections are always been family's favorite. They tastes like heaven! The servings are quite big and prices are reasonable. Though the serving time isn't the fastest! Be sure that when you grab your merienda here, you are willing to waste your time waiting for the food to be served. nevertheless, they are so delicous,...
