I've read about Barbara's online thru different blogs and Tripadvisor. I booked thru phone about two weeks prior to our anniversary and the staff who answered the phone was very courteous. Upon our arrival, we were ushered by the friendly lady at the front door, too bad I forgot her name. But she was very warm and welcomed us like... More

My 31st birthday last year was a bit different than the usual celebrations that I had since I turned 30, 'cause I have this passion of making each of my birthdays unique every year. Too bad, I only realized it after 3 decades. So last year, I decided to make it quite cultural and historical thus I opted to had... More

its our 7th anniversary and we decided to dine in this restaurant...my points of review: 1.when we inquire the staff accomodate us politely, they even put our names in their reservation list to have a good seat yet we are just walk in customers. 2.the place is pretty good, nice ambience, dangling chandeliers add elegance, candle light dinner add more romance. 3.Food is not... I was touring a friend around Intramuros when we got really hungry and decided to eat at Barbara's because it was the closest local restaurant at the time. If you have an al fresco dining area, I think you should also make sure that a staff is assigned to look after guests sitting outside. We've been sitting waiting for someone... More

I have this suspicion that Barbara's gets a lot of its customers from the Carlos Celdran tour. The tour ends one block away from the restaurant, which is good news for those who are looking to fill up after all the walking. Anyway, that's exactly what happened to my friends and I. We finished the tour and had read about... More

The restaurant is inside Manila's walled city, Intramuros, across the road from San Augustin Church and next to the Casa Manila. The restaurant is nice and well decorated. The dinner consists of a buffet with drinks and dessert. From what I remember, it cost about $800 pesos per person. Interestingly, there was a sign on the buffet table that a... More

We had our son's baptismal celebration here and we had a very cute minion cake and supposedly 30 pcs 3D minion cupcakes gift from one of the Godfather. They just served 14 cupcakes instead of 30. When we complained about it and already got home, they texted us that the rest of the cupcakes was just hidden under the table... More

The restaurant located at the historic building and nicely decorated. We had our buffet dinner here, the food is quite normal not much special. I find the dessert is too sweet for me. The great point is they have cultural performance and the audience are able to join them for the bamboo dance, it was a great experience for some... More
