My family of 15 went there and celebrated my cousin's birthday this October. Food was okay, I loved the tempura roll and chocolate gelato.Other gelato flavors tasted bland. Seafood was good, specially the shrimps were huge and can have them cooked the way you want them and if your lazy like me, have them peeled as well. The prime rib was... More

Hits and so-sos . Hits: the freshly brewed coffee, tea selections, the cheese board and the bread range, fresh fruit juices, flourless dark chocolate cake, bread pudding, lobster and shrimps (have them cook it for you salt and pepper style only as the seafood are fresh and best eaten this way), grade A salmon sashimi, varied sushi selection, prime rib... Market Cafe located in the Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila was actually one of the pioneers in open kitchen concepts for its coffee shop or all day dining restaurants. It has a number of open kitchens serving authentic cuisines from the region. It is very interactive as chefs man the counters and prepare food a la minute. Food is never... More

Forgive me for being candid but considering the price I paid & the lousy food served, i must say the experience was an utter disappointment. Market cafe' interiors looked ambitious but appeared ordinary. I liked the roast beef though (the only food I dared to continue eating --- I ignored the rest after having a bite). And, the reception was... More

This was my second visit to Market Cafe for the Steak & Seafood Night. The price of the buffet (approx P1,300.00 if purchased from DealGrocer.com) is more than worth it in view of the excellent selection of beef, lamb and seafood (including lobster) which can be grilled to your liking. The buffet also has a vast array of appetizers, cold... More

The Market Café breakfast buffet is excellent with great service. Omelets are prepared to order, crispy bacon, pastries and a very good array of fruit. Also, salmon and an array of Asian goodies are available. It is a great buffet; and a great way to start the day before hitting the town!!

It was about six years since I had been here so I assumed that standards would have slipped. How wrong I was, although since Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), the buffet is now only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. There were about 60 diners on the Sunday night on which I attended. Apart from the free help yourself unlimited canned... More

We choose the Seafood and Steak Buffet offered by Market Cafe Hyatt Hotel and purchased a voucher from Deal Grocer at greatly discounted prices (40% off the regular rate). There was prime rib and various seafood (crayfish, bugs prawns etc) and meats which one selected and had the chef cook to your liking. This is then delivered to your table.There... More

We had our New Year's Eve celebration here, and enjoyed the food. The spread is adequate, but not enormous, however, everything we had was of pretty good quality. The turkey was juicy, and the made to order soup, and cooked seafood were good. The waitstaff & chefs were friendly and helpful.

In its class, hotel restaurants, Market Cafe in the Hyatt Manila deserves 5 stars. We ate their breakfast buffet twice (about $27 per person including service charges) and was impressed by the wide variety of foods and quality. At the "american" station, there was fresh sliced ham, eggs benedict, any eggs of your choice, sausage and bacon, among others. Their... More
