Good experience of creole cuisine

We went to MA so that our kids could experience creole cuisine. Lunch is a set menu and we ordered 3 between the 4 of us which was more than enough. We also tried the fruit bat curry. There were 7 dishes that comprised the set menu inc mango salad, tuna, fish, chicken curry, battered eggplant... read more

Visited for a quick lunch in order to spend the time while on a stopover from Praslin. Restaurant is some 20 mins from airport (can ride is expensive at nearly 35usd each way). Restaurant is a picturesque colonial-style with lots of knick knacks. Service was very attentive and speedy. The food served was kind of like a selection of small... More

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the most delicious creole food, a really good way to get an insight into the food of the Seychelles. It is a set menu with lots of different dishes to try. We are a family of 5 and just ordered for 3, at the restaurant's suggestion, which worked out perfectly.

We were looking for a local restaurant when we were referred to MA. The mango salad was the only thing I enjoyed. The menu is set and you get 8 small dishes (at lunch time anyway). The chicken curry was very oily, and initially our fish was served cold. They later warmed it. Overall, it was good to experiment /... More

Superb Creole Restaurant in a quiet atmosphere where me and a friend had a delicious meal. We were served with eight or nine various types of dishes, all delicious.

No visit to the Seychelles is complete without eating some authentic Creole cuisine ... there are other places of course but Marie Antoinette is in Victoria and easily accessibly from all over the island.

If you want the full traditional Seychelles meal experience, go to Marie Antoinette! It's a set menu but plenty of choices for everyone. You'll get a bit of everything from breadfruit chips at the start to parrot fish, mango salad, tuna and curry chicken. It's all good if you ask me but not everyone appreciates the style. I hope you... More

This restaurant is an institution. Visited by heads of state and celebrities, it offers an unpretentious, delicious Creole buffet at reasonable prices - especially the wonderfully quaffable house wine. My favourite dish was battered parrot fish - though I felt guilty having spotted them while snorkelling that day.

One of the better meals on the island, & one of the cheapest 1000+ rupees for 2 ppl with drinks. You know what you are going to get before you get there, as the set menu never changes. It will all arrive on your table. Just get set to demolish yummy.
