I am off to the Maldives tomorrow for a week and will be passing through Male. I will definitely be eating at Sala Thai ... I love it..... My mouth is watering at the thought of being there soon ,,ambience..service ..great food..

I went to Sala for my first night in Male. No disappointment here! Beautifully appointed with service and food equally top notch. Some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten and generous portions. Lovely setting for any type gathering. Recommend highly.

i love the ambience, the staffs, the manager..they are very friendly and always smile,,,and specially the food...love them,,never bored,,,keep it up

The food was great and felt genuine. We were told that all ingredients were imported from Thailand. And we believe it because of the taste. Good value, esp when 10% tax is added to everything, we spent appr. 70usd for four dishes and two drinks. Compliments to the chef, who also seemed genuine)

Sala Thai is a great place to go for Dinner, best Food in Male and supper service. The also have 6 Guest Rooms, which are also supper, Just the best in Male

Worth checking out. The owner insists his food is the only authentic Thai food prepared by real Thai chefs. Expensive, but very nice. To tell the truth Sala Thai is one of the best restaurants in Male'.The food is very nice and quantity is good too but all of this plus the nice atmosphere comes with a nice price tag.
