Well, imagine this. You are in the remote island and you still can have mango slice, Swiss ice cream (mouvenpick) and thai food accompanied with great service. Great!! I think this is the right single word to describe this restaurant. It's very close to Jen hotel where we stayed and the reason why we want to go here because I... More

The smoothies were great, just what you need to cool down. Went with a group of 9 and we each ordered a dish to share. All of it was wonderful, especially the coconut curry. Yummy! The chocolate croissants at breakfast were divine.

We stayed at the Sala Boutique Hotel for a full day so it was only natural that we would make sure to try the Sala Thai Restaurant before we checked out, even though we weren't hungry yet. We ordered the pad thai, chicken satay and jasmine rice. Menu items are a bit pricey, priced in USD. But the reviews were... More

I spent a night in this boutique Inn on either side of a Scuba trip, therefore having the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful German style breakfast that reminded me of the Alps AND several fantastic Thai lunches and dinners. My initial thought was to dine around, but I quickly decided to enjoy the ambiance and delightful tastes of the best... More

I had lunch with friends before we went to the airport to go to Koodoo. It was 20 of us and we sat together in a rather long table. We ordered food in a group of 4 people each, to make the ordering and billing process simpler. The food we ordered was good. Very authentic Thai food. Nice dessert too.... More

Whenever I am in MaleI I just HAVE to go to Sala Thai. I am addicted to the mango sticky rice! The restaurant is really near the airport taxi boat terminal and is a lovely old building which has been tastefully updated into a lovely peaceful oasis away from the bustle of Male. The Pad Thai is the best I... More

Not worth the money. I found a hair in the soup and they did not compensate me for it.something free would have been appreciated.they charged me over 150 dollars and no discount. This was hyped as the premier restaurant but this is their quality.I would not recommend this place.

Its a shame that people can just slander without shame here on this page! There was no such incident in our restaurant, nobody has brought us such a thing to our attention! Have a feeling that there is competitors that have no other means than to write such reviews on TripAdvisor to discredit us, nothing unusual in the Maldives, Am... More

Ended up spending 50$ for a pad thai, one appetizer, and an orange juice. I asked if the pad thai could be prepared not spicy and I was told of course. The pad thai was spicy as hell. I gave it two starts cause the food and the place themselves are not bad, but way overpriced for what you get.... More

Dear Mr. Brown, Let me take the opportunity to respond to your comments, in general it would have been helpful for both side to ask for me (the day you were here we could have easily clarified the matter and maybe build a basis for future visits), got to know you are from our trade and do work on one...
