Its a pretty good place to taste Indian Food. The place can be maintained a bit nicely, with so many customers the people who serve there can be a bit more polite and hospitable. The price is very nominal and if you are going there for dinner order only what is prepared freshly like dosa , idly etc. Never go... More

Whenever you go to an Indian restaurant these days, they use the usual plates and some would use a melamine banana leaf like plates. Unless, you are going to have lunch and/or dinner where they serve "banana leaf rice", then only you will get the real banana leaf. Some would just ride on the name "banana leaf rice" but using... I am a fan of South Indian food and Vishalatchi satisfied my craving while I was in KL. After over half day at the Islamic Arts Museum we were quite hungry and decided to grab a bite to eat. However, it took us forever to find the place as apparently Jalan Scott is almost unheard of by the locals that... More

This was one of my best experiences in KL. The staff brought out the banana leaf, rice and curries and helped me select everything. The neighborhood is fun - just down the street is an interesting temple.

Ive been visiting this place since 2008. The food never lets me down. Its really tasty. Very typical south indian food. Die die must try their crab curry and muttton varuvel. Fried chicked is well fried marinated with their special mix, same goes for the fried fish. No deco, you can see many legal eagles feasting here on weekdays. The... More

Had a trip to Kuala Lumpur for a week and used to have lunch and dinner here. Always loved eating on banana leaves. The menu was very simple and the pace is full of good food. The staff are friendly and is very funny to have a conversation with them.

2nd review of this place. Service and food have been maintained. Food was served prompt, fresh and tasty. We had fried shrimps (good), chicken dry varuval (good), fried fish (good) with the basic lunch set meal, which comes with rice, 3 vegetables, curry & papads. Overall, this place is still better than many other south Indian food restaurant. Parking can... More

I have eaten here a few times now, the food and service are really particularly for the price you pay, definitely worth checking out if you are in or around Sentral.

I moved to this place after Nirwana's in Bangsar started to get very costly. the food price here is pretty average. RM5.50 per leaf with the 3 basic vegetables. Their food choices varies daily and it depends on the food that you take it will be costly. At the first glance this place looks like a food mass hall. Even... More
