I only opt for Secret Recipe when it comes to cakes. Not fan of the food though. It may also need to improve on the service as I have been to a few of the outlet - service is the same. But cakes, still one of the best to offer when it comes to variety and price.

If you ever stop her for lunch, dinner or tea, make sure to order for the famous Mud Cake. Although it sounds gross... The cake is to die for.

Enjoyed this place - friendly staff and a nice little menu. We got the Curry Mee (good except the noodles were western spaghetti style), prawn pasta (similar result - good but pasta could be better), and both the vegetarian and chicken versions of the fried rice & skewer combo. Both of these were great actually - the flavours subtly different... More

Secret Recipe is one of my favorite restaurants in Malaysia. Good choice of cakes and drinks. This time, I visited twice within my 5 days in Kuala Lumpur. Quite enjoy their cheese cakes and curry noodle. As a customer and we in fact ordered cakes and drinks already, however, I did not expect that we were still charged for two... More

It's ok.. their cakes are good, depending on which ones. I usually get the indulgence and also the carrot cakes or their vienna brownies/normal brownies/ blueberry cheesecake... Good experience would be the outlet at Suria, beware of the scorching heat though..

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I went to Secret Recipe in Miri Sarawak with my family last summer. The service is a huge let down. The staffs are ill-mannered, not friendly, and rude. There were not many people that time, however, the waiting time was unacceptable. Not only that, they forgot my mother's order, where my mom had to wait for her food,... More

I arrived via the Espres Train and saw this place. Upon reviewing the menu, I decided to try the food. I had the chicken satay appetizer and the Vietnam Beef Noodle soup. Both ere good but nothing off the charts. Many people were obviously unhappy as meals arrived at different times and keeping up with the needs of drinks and... More
