I've been with fatty crab for many years now and still counting. This place is probably have one of the longest queue hence to avoid that, be there early. Once I had to wait for 2hrs. After that incident I'm always there by 5.30pm and there were plenty of seats. They only served a few varieties of food to name... More

I visited KL recently and was introduced to this very famous restaurant where people will be queuing to get a seat. We arrived around 5:30pm where there was not yet many people. We asked to be seated upstairs to avoid from people smoking but the auntie rudely denied our request telling us there was plenty of seat downstairs. Wow!! We... More

We had to wait 50 minutes for our table, so was ravenous and full of anticipation to try out this legendary crab restaurant. The crabs were nice, but not so different from other restaurants - in fact, I would rate Mei Keng Fatt's crabs better. So a dissapointing experience...but probably more due to the high expectations before I started eating.... More

I had a short business trip in Kuala Lumpur in late October with my colleagues. During our stay, we followed recommendations from travel books to find good local restaurants to try, but none of them are really good. Finally we searched through tripadvisor and identified this restaurant, which is located not far away from our hotel and we plan to... More

The crab and the chicken wings are the best seller in this restaurant. If I remember correctly, they only serve chilli crab and steamed crab, which is still good considerably. However, the crabs seems to be getting more expensive, where two person dining can cost up to a hundred. Chicken wing is really good as well, but could cost up... More

When eating here, one should be dressed comfortably and don't expect 5 star hospitality & service; just go, get a table, order, eat, pay & leave. On weekends, it would be best if you could make reservations especially if you are there with a large group. Only limited menu, spicy sour crabs & I'm sure there's another sytle of crabs... More

We enjoyed a great dinner of spicy crab, garlic prawns (some of the best I ever had), chicken and beef satay and fried rice. That covers pretty much everything on the menu except steamed fish - but that would be too much for 2 people. Everything was tasty, especially prawns and of course crab. A generous dinner for 2 with... More
