This Saravana Bhavan outlet is located behind the Mydin shop in Jalan Masjid India. Taste is good, is a bit crowded during the lunch times. I found the Singapore outlet more tastier. Cost is equal to what it is in Chennai.

Back at Saravana Bhavan after one year(almost) Nothing has really changed!! Had mini idlies in Sambar (the sambar was too spicy with lot of pepper) and had to eat a halva to counter the spice While in India, idlies are served first, here they serve dosas first. I had onion tomato oothapam which I think is better made in India!... More

Tons and tons of option for south Indian food. The thali is amazing with lots of variety. The good thing is that it opens early, so for Indian tourists, its a good place to have breakfasts.

Food quite good liked by my family and we could relish the Indian taste in Malaysia. We ordered thali and other stuff and it was quite tasteful. I would recommend for everyone to go to this place. Regards Sukhi

HSB have opened a new branch at Leboh Ampang, the city's Indian alley. Their menu, service and quality has not changed. Food served fresh, tasty and environment is clean. Their food resembles what you get at south India branches, thus you can see many Indian expats patronising the place. Tripadvisor should change the non-vegetarian item picture used in this page... We had dinner in Saravana Bhavan in Brickfields, Food was tasty and menu similar to other Saravana Bhavans - reminded me of the visit in India and USA. A must visit for vegetarians.

Its amazing how the chain is managing to keep the taste alive in a city like KL. However i must admit the food tastes excellent and the staff are very friendly and do a service without any fuss. If you are a lover of Indian food and are in KL please visit the Saravan Bhavan outlet either in Bangsar or... More

Compact genuine indian vegetarian food. Owned by saravanva bhavan group of Chennai/south India. Total five branches in KL. Had a chance to visit 2 of them (KL Central, Masjid India). The taste and menu similar to that of restaurants in Chennai.
