Walked past one day on our honeymoon in KL and noticed it was very busy, we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Good choice of local Malaysian food on the menu and reasonably priced. We ordered the chicken and beef satay as starters and the lobster noodles and beef ho fun as mains. Food came along promptly and... More

When I want authentic Malaysian dishes, with air-cond, comfortable, relaxed and clean atmosphere, I'll head to Madam Kwan's. Service is fast. Liked most of their dishes, especially the Nasi Lemak and Penang Laksa, yum-yum! Go early before the lunch crowd comes, or after 2pm - the queue could be very long.....

My partner and I chose Madam Kwan's as we wanted to try some authentic Malay cuisine on our first night in K.L and hadn't yet ventured much further in to the city. Although there are lots of food outlets in the Suria KLCC mall there is a distinct lack of Malaysian style food and this was the only busy place... More

Dropped by around 9ish night time after a long day at work. The place was still packed but the meals still came out quickly. Food was good. We had Laksa and Nasi Bojari (fried chicken, beef rendang, rice and prawn. Although the serving was a bit on the small side.

This is first restaurant I visited after I landed in KL. As we weren't sure what to order, the staff helped us. I loved the Otak-Otak and Prawn dumpling soup. The quantity was amazing and the food was flavorsome.

Ate here on the recommendation of a local friend. Lunch was good as was service. Atmosphere was better than the nearby mall restaurants. Bok Choy was particularly tasty.

I had the pomelo salad and beef noodle cantonese style. The salad was refreshing with generous serving of crunchy sweetish sourish pomelo sprinkled with toasted peanut and fried shallots. The beef noodle is one of the best halal one in town. Very generous portion of beef and spring onion. Smoky flavoured flat noodle was delicious. Would be perfect with pickled... More

Always a hit with our family... food is always good and service is always quick and efficient! I always go with large families and once we order we very rarely have to wait too long for drinks and soon after our food. I wouldn't say staff are over friendly but they are pleasant enough and always efficient with our orders... More
