Does the job

Good service Good price Good portions The food tastes good but it's not that authentic Asian meal ingredients. Lot of processed/frozen (not sure what you will call it) I would recommend to have a try

Specially taken to the restaurant for a traditional Malay Meal . The food is Awesome , tasting better than what you find in other restaurants. The portion size is quite big and has a good variety . Would love to go again.

As for the food, I liked the pat Thai best, Kung Pao chicken is definitely better than the ones you find in the U.S. A foreign resident told us that this is the place to go for those who want a taste of local cuisine but are too cautious to try. I went to have dinner at Madam K's last... More

We came near to closing time, but we still had to wait for a table - this proves that Madam Kwan's is really popular! That said, it was rather pricey for Nasi Lemak - we paid about MYR40 per pax at the end of the meal (Nasi Lemak, a drink and a dessert). The staff weren't very cheerful, but I... More

As stated in title. If you can settle for shopping mall style eating it is ok but I can find more authentic Malaysian dish in the street with less than half of the price. Portion is okay. The drinks are bland and so is the food. Dessert is good and I can say it is by far its strong points... More

Madam Kwan's is an institution in Kuala Lumpur. it serves good Malaysian food at reasonable prices. Portions are large, suitable for sharing in a family friendly environment. The menu is well illustrated, so you can easily understand what it is that you are ordering. The food is delicious and for those not used to Asian dining, it presents the opportunity... More

Madam Kwans is a good restaurant serving a wide selection of Malaysian dishes and also nyonya fare. The quality is consistent at all outlets. My favourite is the fish noodle in milky soup. The nasi lemak and the chicken rice is also highly recommended. Try the ice kacang for dessert. The service is fast. But it does get very busy... More

The food was tasteless and horrible. Really expensive for the quality of food served. The waiters were rude and unattentive. Had to remind them over and over again on our orders

Besides it being a good restaurant, I'd like to highlight that this is a great place for expats to try local authentic Malaysian food. You may have to cue up at peak hours. Order anything freely and it should be good as its standard. Cheers!
