A must for first time Malaysia travellers

Madame Kwan's has been a mainstay for years. It has very decent Malaysian food of all types-Malay, Indian and Chinese. And certain canonical dishes like Char Kway Teow (halal) and Roti Canai are always good. (Note these are both Malaysian but one India, one Chinese so really not meant to be eaten... read more

Well, this restaurant mainly serving the local Malaysia famous foods from all the 3 races, the Chinese, Malay and Indian. Everytime I check in there, Nasi Lemak, fried Kuey Tiao and the Cendol are the must eat food during my visit. Love it all times :)

Decent portion of char kway teow, yummy chendol too. Price was not too bad looking at the portions. Went to the outlet at KLCC. Have to avoid the lunch & dinner crowd if you want to eat in a quieter environment. Otherwise it gets too rowdy & the staff will be running around.

It was very busy however the service was inattentive and unhelpful, we had to request things twice even though we were with locals. Food was bland

Loved the food Service needs to be more friendly, but I realized being in the most famous KLCC mall it has a waiting list of customers and the restaurant is always packed. The food was extremely tasty and a strong recommend by me. Feel free to check the photos I posted

But.......once there I noticed how old it looked, and so different in style to the one I tried in mid valley. Nevertheless I entered and after a long wait , and the time to see that the service was not even at average level, finally I received my ordered dishes. The omelette with shrimps and onions was PERFECT, but for... More

Great taste but a bit pricey. The nasi bojari colored rice with fried chicken is their speciality. We also ordered the promfret curry which goes well with rice. The desserts there is also good

Madam kwans one of the best choise for delicious, "halal", local food. I like nasi bojari kind of cook of rice and special spice which make the steam rice taste good and nice fragrance. It add chicken and vegetables. Complete meal in a dish.
