The Lemon Garden cafe is part of the Shangri La therefore the quality and variety of food (from international to malaysian) meets the standards of a 5 stars hotel so, absolutely nothing to complaint. But if you are looking for romanticism, traditional Malaysian athmosphere or tranquillity, I suggest you pick a different place. The menu is served also at buffet... More

It's a nice restaurant with a large buffet offering dishes ranging from sushi, to roast beef, to Indian, to Malaysian, to ice cream to... you get the point. Pricing is ok; 35 Euro/person (+ tax + drinks). So, not on the 'value' end of the equation, but then again it's in the Shangri-La's rather opulent and very pleasant setting. The... More

The choice was never ending for the breakfast buffet. I strongly recommend you try it. We paid five pounds each per day extra for the buffet breakfast when booking

I would say Lemon Garden Cafe is an average buffer restaurant as there are many more good buffet restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. The environment is not too bad but the restaurant is over crowded most of the time. Food is not bad but i would not give excellence. Service is slow. I would prefer Contago at Majestic Hotel over Lemon... More

We went to the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised when informed that kid under 6 is free. The buffet spread is good, with fresh sashimi being served all round. Our kids did take much food as expected, however they are entertained by the in house clown appearance organized by the cafe. It is indeed a good venue for a family... More

Visited many Buffet Restaurant around town and finds that Lemon Garden is still the best for its choices and quality. My favorite will be the Japanese Corner and also the dessert section. You will be definitely spoilt by the choices. Although food is good overall but the service is not consistent for its standard. Nevertheless, I will still recommend this... More

My steak sandwich was very nice, it was a 220g sirloin from Aus and was well cooked. My partner however had the rib-eye also from Aus, but as a main course, not sandwich. The sides were cold and flavourless and the steak itself was full of sinew. I understand that a rib-eye is meant to be marbled with fat, that... More

Informal dining with a good international menu with more than enough local options. We were there for a quick bite to eat on a 10 hour stop over at KL. We were particularly impressed by the helpful, personable staffs, who explained portion sizes and wee quick to understand what we were after. Fried prawns with peanut sauce and chicken stay... More

Lemon Garden Cafe @ Shangri-la is a well known name in Kuala Lumpur. It's rate is one of highest but there are so many good reviews so I had to try the food when I was in KL for holiday from 26 - 29 June 2014. Lemon Garden Cafe is located at rear right side lobby of Shangri-la Hotel which... More
