Good food; service needs "jacking up"......

Stunning setting with views to the street below; great menu; good fast WiFi; just a shame about the poor / indifferent service. I had to work hard to get the attention of the waiting staff even though the place wasn't busy & there were plenty of staff. The food took a long time to arrive but it... read more

Ordered 2 drinks, 2 starters & 2 mains - not difficult .... 10 mins later speak to 2nd member of staff about drinks which eventually arrive separately served by staff members 3 & 4. One starter arrives served by staff No. 5. My partner finishes her starter and I chase up mine ..... 5 mins later my (incorrect) starter arrives... More

I was one of a few cusomers there in the afternoon. Most Malay places on this floor were packed. This Thai and next door Indian restaurants were having problem attracting and the number one reason is price. Well I am leary of spicy Malay food so I decided the Thai. Pineapple fried rice was decent in taste but small in... More

We had dinner in Chakri Palace 2 days ago. Firstly, the service is not up to expectation as the waiters are obviously not well-trained. At least 2 times they took the wrong dishes to us and also the next table. We had Chakri Four Seasons, Steamed Seabass with Lime and Chillies, Sauteed Chicken with basil leaves, Tom Yam chicken soup... More

Had an excellent Friday night dinner with dishes like king prawn tom yum (clear), larb gai, pad Thai, black pepper beef and tubtim for dessert. The only thing that impressed me was the king prawn tom yum (clear). Larb gai was average, pad Thai needs more condiments (lacked some of the basic ingredients such as banana flower, etc.). Black pepper... More

Had lunch at Chakri Palace. Enjoyed an amazing seafood salad. Excellent service. Very popular restaurant. Tried lemongrass juice which was an interesting choice.

I was looking for a good meal to treat myself yesterday and walked past Chakri and saw their "best Tom Yam in Town" poster. I was attracted but I went and surveyed other restaurants. I then decided I will go for Chakri because I had a good meal there some years back. Boy was I sorry I did! The place... More

There are a lot of choices in the mall. This was nice fresh Thai cooked while you wait. I found the flavors very nice and the portion was large. I also enjoyed the mango with sticky rice.

It is quite expensive place to go for a plain Thai cuisine. It does serve a typical Thai meal menu but not really a real authentic taste. With the price, there are better places to go but of cause it is the only place inside KLCC. The restaurant also rather small and may be feel slightly cramped if fully occupied.

Too pricey for the kind of food it serves.. I feel many Thai restaurants at Chang kat could serve you better food at a lower price. But if you are at KLCC and wanna have Thai food then this might be the only available option. Be ready to get a whole in your pocket..!!
