Special Sunday Nights

Sure we have all read the food and service reviews for La Bodega and everyone can agree the food is good. But I'm not sure if everyone is aware of the wonderful music and atmosphere you can get there on a Sunday evening. If you're like me and a fan of R&B and Hip Hop from the 1990s onwards.. this... read more

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times already for both lunch and dinner. Loved the atmosphere and the wide selection of spanish dishes. Service is very nice and polite, food is delicious and the Lounge is the perfect place for those who want a place to chill.

After a hot and tiring we knock off to La Bodega. We ordered a pint of Hoegaarden to cool us from the blistering hot weather. We went up to eat as down there was a bit noisy. We ordered Pan Roasted Fillet of Beef served with broad beans, peas and baby spinach and Penne Trio with Roasted Prawns in tomato... More

I've been to La Bodega Pavs 2 years back and we do loved the atmosphere plus the delish tapas serves! The service at Pavs r just excellent. This trip, my friends brought me to Bangsar and we started with La bodega and other joins, but still preferred La Bodega. They do serve great tapas!!

Wow. People saying this is nice SPANISH food they must have never been to Spain or if they did, had their food in some tourist trap cause this food is anything but Spanish. First, is halal - and the substitute for pork the way they use it simply doesn't work. Second, is badly cooked and greasy beyond comprehension. I had... More

We had about 4-5 dishes of tapas (eggplant with tomato sugo, lamb meatballs, mushroom in garlic sauce, garlic prawns, etc and it was served with complimentary slices baguette to mop up the sauces). Dishes were generally robust and flavoursome, except for the mushrooms which were insipid (tasted a bit like the mushroom sauce you get on steaks with less flavour).... More

We enjoyed delicious ice coffee at one of La Bodega's sidewalk tables. The tapas were nothing to write home about, but it was a fine place to chill.

They have ladies night on every Thursday. Ladies are entitle to get free flow of beers and house wines from 8pm till 10pm. Great place to chill with warmth ambience, ideal tapas, and they even have board games! Upstairs have widen floors and some of the nights they hired a dj to spin.

Had lunch with some friends here on the weekend, 5 adults, 3 kids aged 1-5. Food was probably 3.5 stars, my salted beef sandwich was really good, as were the codfish croquettes. Most others had pasta, which was fair to good. Drinks service was ok, seemed to be a bit of a breakdown in communication between bar and outside staff,... More

Visited the La Bodega branch in BSC and found the menu to be quite lacking for a typical tapas place. Ordered patatas bravas with garlic mayo sauce and cod croquettes. Both were horrible! The potato wedges were thin enough to be called fries and definitely fried and refried to be heated up before being served. They were also incredibly hot,... More
